Good morning and welcome to this morning meditation.

Start by finding your way into a comfortable seated position,

Cross-legged with your hands resting on your knees,

Or any way you feel the most comfortable this morning.

Shoulders are relaxed and spine is tall and straight.

It helps if you'd like to sit on a block or a cushion.

Gently invite your eyes to close,

Bringing your awareness to your inner self.

Breathe in and out through the nose,

Grounding yourself more and more with every breath.

Being aware of your breath,

Start now by breathing into your heart,

In through the nose,

To your heart,

And out through the nose.

Once again,

In through the nose,

To your heart,

Out through the nose.

Give your heart this morning all the love,

Life and joy.

One last time,

Breathing in through the nose,

To your heart,

Out through the nose.

It's a new day and with a new day always comes a chance of a fresh start.

Comes the opportunity to set how we want our day to go and ultimately is the opportunity to set an intention for our day.

I would like to invite you then to set up an intention for your day.

It can be anything really,

From I am blessed,

Something very personal for you and the way you wish to feel today in particular,

Or to I will start reading that book,

Something more as of what you've been wanting to do for a while now.

Take a moment now to set up that intention and repeat it to yourself when you're ready,

Three times.

Having now set an intention for your day,

Bring back your awareness to your breath.

Once again,

Breathing into your heart,

Filling your heart with gratitude,

Love for this new day.

This time,

Breathe in through the nose,

To your heart,

And breathe out through the mouth.

Feeling your body completely relaxed and your mind in peace.

One more time,

Breathing in through the nose,

To the heart,

And out through the mouth.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to your surroundings with a gentle smile on your face and at your own pace,

Inviting your eyes to open.

You are now set for a new day.

I would like to thank you and I would like to wish you a beautiful day ahead.
