Transcript

Begin by taking a comfortable seat and taking three slow deep cleansing breaths.

And sensing into the body,

Feeling the body as a whole right now,

Relaxed,

Complete.

Simply allowing the body to be at ease,

Relaxing into any tension,

Any holding,

Anywhere in the body.

And similarly with the breath,

Allowing the breath to be natural at ease.

Simply allowing yourself to be breathed.

Just allowing the breath to flow naturally in and out of the body.

And also with the mind,

Allowing the mind to be completely open,

Relaxed,

At ease.

Allowing whatever is to simply be body,

Breath,

And mind completely relaxed and at ease.

And now recalling a moment with one of your caring figures.

A moment in which you felt connected,

Seen,

Loved.

A genuine moment of connection,

Warmth,

Kindness.

Imagine as if that moment is present right now.

Connecting in with that caring figure and sensing their presence.

Noticing what it feels like to call this person,

This experience to mind.

Feel the happiness or even joy of holding this moment or person in mind.

Allowing yourself to open to and accept their wish for your deepest well-being as best as you can.

Noticing how they connect in with you,

Resonating with your fuller potential beyond our limiting thoughts of ourselves or ideas about whether we deserve or don't deserve care.

Simply connecting,

Resonating at a fundamental level.

And explore just opening to and accepting this natural loving wish for your well-being.

Try receiving this energy into every single part of your body.

Every muscle,

Every tension,

Every discomfort,

Dis-ease,

Every cell.

Every single part of you loved.

And also exploring,

Receiving this energy into every part of your mind.

Every worry,

Every stressor,

Every tension,

Every underlying fear,

Frustration,

Feeling of not being good enough.

Every single part of your mind loved.

Every part of you loved just in its very being.

And trying for a few moments to continue exploring to receive this energy from your caring figure.

And when you feel ready,

Allow the image or memory of this caring figure to fade and let yourself simply let go into that feeling of care,

Acceptance,

Deep letting be.

Take a moment to enjoy being at ease and complete in this way,

Completely relaxed,

At ease.
