There is pain burning within me.
It comes and goes as it pleases.
I push it away,
Pretend it's not there,
But it never seems to go away for good.
When will it let me free?
When will it allow me to feel inner peace?
I yearn for its disappearance and try to drown it the best I know how.
I shelter behind smiles and affirmations of I'm okay.
When in reality I want to scream the pain away.
I want it to be gone.
I want to feel love whole once again.
If this is you,
You are not alone,
My beautiful soul.
Let us close our eyes and begin to breathe into our body,
Allowing calm and peace into this moment.
This burning pain within you wants you to know it is here for you.
It is speaking to you,
But instead you turn its volume down and pray it will go away.
Then you are shaken by its presence time and time again.
I wonder when will it let you live free,
Peaceful?
The pain wants not to hurt you,
But for you to listen.
Listen not with your ears,
But with your whole being.
It wants you to know its truth,
But you have been listening to the stories that say it is here to do you harm.
It is here to rob you of inner peace and love.
Let yourself turn into your body and for once listen to what it's really been trying to tell you.
For the first time in a long time,
Trust that it is safe for you to open yourself up and let the pain in.
Welcome it in with an open heart,
Bringing your awareness and breath to your heart space.
Taking a deep breath in to your heart,
Knowing that you are not alone.
Bringing your awareness next to your breath and focusing on your crown space.
As you allow beautiful white light shining down through you.
This beautiful white light lets you know you are not alone.
You never were.
Allow your whole body,
Head to toe,
To be coated with this beautiful healing white light.
Allowing your breath to be the intensifier of this beautiful white healing light flowing through and around you.
Allow yourself to invite your pain back in.
Allow your pain to come back in to have a warm cup of tea with you.
Ask your pain why are you here?
And intuitively,
Without a word spoken from your pain,
You know exactly why it's here.
You ask it to trust you and to believe in you as you can live without it.
You take this time to thank it for its beautiful teachings.
You tell it you love it,
For without it,
You wouldn't be who you are today.
Bringing a slight smile into your face,
You notice the pain is no longer sitting with you.
It is now gone.
You are alone but you don't feel alone.
You know you have yourself there with you.
You know you will always have yourself there with you.
Bringing your awareness back to your physical body,
You begin to consciously breathe into your body.
Slowly,
Very slowly,
Begin to move your body,
Stretching and wiggling your toes and fingers,
Bringing your palms together,
Rubbing your hands and bringing your hands over your eyes as you slowly begin to open them.
I want to thank you for being here with me today,
For allowing yourself this pocket of inner peace and reconnection.
