Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes and begin to connect to your body by following the effortless flow of your breath.
In and out,
Without controlling the pace just bring your conscious awareness to it as it is.
Now imagine a person who has shown you a great deal of love.
This might be a parent,
Another family member,
A dear friend,
Or even a mentor like a coach or a teacher.
Visualize this person and think of a time you felt extreme love and support.
Really embody the feelings of being able to release in this person's presence,
Almost like floating on your back in the ocean.
Feel the full support of this person's love holding you up as you effortlessly glide across the vastness of life.
Sit here for a few more moments,
Really enveloped in this love.
Continue connecting to your breath and truly imagine the ease with which your life feels and flows under this amount of love and support.
As you continue to connect to your body and breath,
Place your right hand on your heart and your left over your right.
Move your attention away from the person you just imagined and onto yourself,
Your body,
Your heart,
Your soul.
This person you are touching is capable and ready to love and support you,
To bring you back to that ocean and hold you up as you float effortlessly on your back.
Her essence is love and she is patiently awaiting your return each and every moment.
Hear her say,
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
Feel those words echo in your mind.
Sense the warmth that is coming from your hands resting on your heart.
Sit for a moment and truly feel the connection and energy between the palms of your hands and the depths of your heart.
Repeat the words,
I love you,
Followed by your name.
She is here waiting for you.
Come back to her often and allow her to love you in a way only she can do.
