This is a simple yet powerful practice to enjoy daily - especially if you are eager to work on rebalancing, cleansing, clearing and opening your Chakras. This meditation moves through the 7 major energy centres. By moving through each Chakra you will take time to attune and become aware of the state and health of each centre whilst intending to clear and release any stagnancy. Your Chakric system, within your energy body affects your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

Welcome to your chakra balancing meditation.

In this meditation,

You will be cleansing the seven main energy centers or chakras in your energy anatomy.

As we work from the base chakra through to the crown,

You will be cleansing,

Healing and rebalancing these centers that govern all areas of your life.

The lower three chakras focus on grounding,

Rebuilding energy,

Enjoying pleasure and embracing your power.

The middle two chakras focus on positivity,

Openness,

Connection,

Truth,

Love,

Expression,

Authenticity and communication.

And the upper two chakras focus on intuition,

Possibilities,

Dreams,

Aspirations,

Clarity,

Wisdom and free thinking.

So let us begin.

Ensure you are in a comfortable seat and your spine is supported.

Place your feet on the floor and rest your hands lightly in your lap.

Gently close your eyes.

Allow your gaze beneath your closed eyelids to draw downwards.

Let your hands and feet relax in the most comfortable position for you.

And now take your attention to your breath.

Slowly,

Evenly and consciously breathing in and out of the nose.

Breathe in through the nose,

Gently open your mouth to sigh out the exhale.

Again,

Breathe in through the nose,

Open your mouth and sigh out the exhale.

And finally,

Take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

Gently open your mouth and as you sigh out the exhale,

Do so with sound,

Letting it all go.

Keep your lips gently closed and allow the breath to now become steady and even and gentle.

A breath that requires no effort and no concentration.

Allow your body to feel heavy and warm and supported by the chair you are in.

Begin to relax your entire body.

Give yourself permission to relax.

Letting all the tension in your body begin to slowly melt away.

Visualise all the stress and tension stored in your body and mind slowly melting out,

Dripping out.

Starting from the crown of the head,

Down through the face,

Neck and shoulders.

Continuing down through the arms,

Chest and torso.

Melting the stress down through the hips,

The pelvis and the legs.

Visualise all the stress and tension slowly melting away,

Out through your feet.

Let it all go.

Take a deep breath in and a long,

Slow breath out.

Now,

Bring your attention to the pelvis area and the base of the spine.

This is where your base chakra lives.

Its colour is red.

Your base chakra helps you to feel grounded and energetic.

Tune in.

Notice the details of your base chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour red?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from the centre.

Spend a few moments breathing in and out of your base chakra.

And as you do,

Imagine your base chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the lower belly,

Just beneath your navel and the sacrum area.

This is where your sacral chakra lives.

Your sacral chakra helps you to experience pleasure,

Consciousness and desire.

Its colour is orange.

Notice all the details of your sacral chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour orange?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from the centre.

Breathe in and out of this centre.

And as you do,

Imagine your sacral chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the area above your belly,

At your stomach.

This is where your solar plexus chakra lives.

Its colour is yellow.

Your solar plexus chakra helps you to embrace and step into your personal power.

Notice all the details of your solar plexus chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour yellow?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from this centre.

Breathe in and out from this centre.

And imagine your solar plexus chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the heart area and sternum.

This is where your heart chakra lives.

Its colour is green.

Your heart chakra helps you to feel positive,

Open,

Connected and loving.

Notice all the details of your heart chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour green?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from this centre.

Breathe in and out from this centre.

And imagine your heart chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the throat.

This is where your throat chakra lives.

Its colour is blue.

Your throat chakra helps you to be truthful,

Expressive,

Authentic and clear in communication.

Notice all the details of your throat chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour blue?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from this centre.

Breathe in and out from the throat chakra.

And imagine your throat chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the third eye centre,

The space between the eyebrows.

This is where your third eye chakra lives.

Its colour is indigo.

Your third eye chakra helps you tap into your intuition,

Dreams and aspirations.

Notice all the details of your third eye chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour indigo?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from this centre.

Breathe in and out from the third eye chakra.

And imagine your third eye chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Now,

Take your attention to the crown of the head.

This is where your crown chakra lives.

Its colour is lilac.

Your crown chakra helps you to have clarity,

Consciousness and free thinking.

Notice all the details of your crown chakra.

What texture does it have?

Can you feel a warmth,

Vibration or sensation?

How bright or dull is the colour lilac?

Now,

Feel your breath moving in and out from this centre.

Breathe in and out from the crown chakra.

And imagine your crown chakra is being cleansed and strengthened.

Breathe in.

Breathe in.

Breathe in again.

Now,

As you breathe in,

Visualise white golden light drawing down into your crown chakra.

With each inhale,

Draw in light into your crown chakra.

And as you breathe out,

See that white golden light travel down into your third eye chakra.

See that light continue to travel down into your throat,

Heart,

Solar plexus,

Sacral and base chakras.

And then see that light moving down into the earth.

Again,

Inhale,

Drawing in white golden light.

As you exhale,

See that light travel down each of your seven chakras and down into the earth.

Inhale,

Drawing in white golden light.

And exhale,

Travelling the light down your chakras and into the earth.

Repeat this a few more times,

Taking your time to channel white golden light to balance and cleanse each of your chakras.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Let this chakra cleanse,

Integrate and assimilate.

Allow the work that you have done to cleanse and balance and heal your chakras to integrate and assimilate on a deeper level.

Positively affecting and transforming your mind,

Your body,

Your soul.

And now take a deep breath in,

A cleansing breath in,

And open your mouth to exhale.

Exhale.

Let your breath return to a steady,

Even and gentle pattern as we slowly prepare to exit this meditation.

Begin now to gently reawaken your body,

Stretching out through your fingers and toes.

When you're ready,

Take your time slowly opening your eyes and coming back to waking consciousness.
