To live life moment by moment is to observe at each moment without being an observer.
That's to give full attention to each moment.
Embrace everything.
Only in such a state,
The mind can properly focus on something.
Focus on the life without exclusion.
Focus on whatever you are doing without any exclusion.
In that state,
The mind is free of the control,
Which means that the mind must actively observe so the concentration won't take place.
The whole process of doing this,
Living moment by moment,
Requires a very proactive mind.
When the mind is passive,
The mind is trapped by the self,
By all kinds of divisions between you and me.
Then,
No matter what the mind does,
In this state,
Everything is out of reaction.
Out of self-defense,
Therefore,
Is passive.
To live a very proactive life,
Which means that the mind steers itself without evoking,
Triggering the self.
In that state,
The action the mind takes is out of clarity,
Not reaction.
Out of the observance at each moment,
The mind is fresh,
Innocent.
Therefore,
Such a mind is extremely peaceful,
Resilient,
And only such a mind can touch upon compassion.
Such a mind can live a compassionate,
Passionate,
Peaceful life.
So,
To meditate is to really question the things we have inherited,
The things we are educated,
The things we are imposed on.
To question it,
To see it clearly.
In that very scene,
The confusion with life is cleared,
Together with all the issues about life and existence.
