Hello and welcome to your mindful moment.
This moment is just for you.
Leave everything behind what was and do not focus on what you still have planned for the day.
Take a comfortable seat,
Allow your spine to be straight and long and let your shoulders drop gently.
If you want you can close your eyes or you just find a light gaze focusing on a still spot.
Rest your hands on your thighs,
Palms face down for grounding energy.
Check in with yourself.
How do you feel today?
Where can you feel some tightness,
Some stagnant energy in the body?
Just become aware of the rhythm of your breath and simply observe.
How deep does your breath go?
Can you feel your belly bloating up,
Your chest or nothing at all?
There is no right or wrong here.
When you inhale,
Notice the feeling of the air flowing in through the nostrils,
Down into the lungs and down into the belly.
And on the exhale,
Feel the release of any tension as you let the air out slowly.
Just take a couple breaths here.
Now bring attention to your feet.
Feel how the soles of your feet are touching the ground and how they're just flat and grounding.
Wander up your calves,
Your knees,
Your thighs.
Feel the sit bones grounded on your seat.
Gently pull the belly button in and feel the little tilt in your hips.
Maybe these will lift you up and let you sit a little taller.
Now feel your spine.
Walk up vertebrae by vertebrae and maybe you can imagine how each one is stacked onto each other,
Holding your body up straight.
Remember this when you sit at your desk the next time.
Maybe you can bring more awareness to your posture.
Roll your shoulders back and together to open your heart and breathe.
Use the breath to open your chest.
Blow the air all the way up to your collarbones and fill your upper body with fresh oxygen.
Wander to your throat and neck and shoulders.
Everything is relaxed.
Gently relax your jaw.
Leave a little gap between your teeth.
Rest your tongue in the palate.
Can you still feel the air in your nostrils?
Keep breathing.
Now bring attention to your eyes.
They have nothing to do.
Let them be relaxed in their eye sockets.
Take another deep breath and bring attention to the point between your eyebrows.
Focus on your third eye.
Imagine how a spiral of light is twirling to clear up your head space.
Your forehead feels relaxed.
Your head is relaxed.
You have now room for fresh ideas.
And if you want,
You can feel how the light expands into your whole body.
Your body will be filled with that new energy.
You will feel refreshed and light.
Whenever you're ready,
Flatter your eyes open and come back to that present moment.
Thanks for letting me guide you.
Have a wonderful rest of your day.
