Good morning Let's start into our conscious little morning routine Taking a couple of minutes just for yourself Deep breaths Taking the first couple conscious breaths of this morning With the breath exploring your body Letting the breath reach into all the areas of your body Waking up the cells Exploring what it feels like to be in your body this morning If there's any tension anywhere You're waking up with a stiff neck or feeling something in your belly I invite you to bring a conscious breath into those areas Relaxing those areas with a gentle touch of your morning breath And then bringing your awareness to what you're grateful for in this very moment Experiencing life just for what it is And expressing gratitude for it And maybe you experience a small inner smile as you bring your attention to these matters that you feel grateful for in this moment And allowing yourself to experience how after all these journeys,
All this time you've been investing in yourself Cultivating care for yourself You have finally arrived All is well right here and now And all that you have ever wished for Wished to accomplish Wished to experience Has already come and been done Your cup is full And you have arrived Experiencing what this notion does for you For your nervous system For your sense of peace and ease And allowing yourself to rest back into this peacefulness Bring your awareness to your inner child And just as you find it Whatever age,
Stage it might be Just observe it for a moment Observing its demeanor,
Its facial expression,
Its mood And however it may be in this moment Inviting it to come to you And if it feels safe to do so Invite it to give you a warm hug And this is most effective when you can really feel each other Your child and your current self,
Skin to skin Feeling the gentle touch and the warmth of the skin And if it is not ready to embrace you,
That is okay And you can imagine each other just being close But as you hold this child really dear to your heart Feeling its heartbeat And you feel what it is needing in this moment What it is needing to hear from you A stable presence in its life that it may not have always had And as you caress it,
Whether from afar or in your arms Whisper those words into its ear The words you wish to have heard when you were that age Really feeling it in your heart as you express it from your heart Like a caring mother to a child Assuring it you will always be there Be a stable presence in their life They won't abandon them They can always come to you,
Whenever they feel unsafe Or when they feel judgment arising,
Shame,
Guilt When they need loving touch and reassurance So give them a little peck on the forehead And releasing them into their day as you enter into yours Giving them a reassuring smile as you send them off And then deepening your breath as you awaken your own body More and more into the present moment And as you let go of the past As you breathe more and more into the present moment Feeling the power of the here and the now And all the possibility of this day as you breathe more deeply,
More vigorously Coming alive to what's possible for you today This gift of a day And then stretch your body,
Really giving it care and love Maybe you want to touch your body where it feels good Giving it some loving attention and affection Feeling the pleasure of your own touch on your body And the safety it brings you to feel yourself and not have to think This moment is just for you And when you feel ready you can flutter open your eyes Maybe there's a window and daylight you can see Connecting to the spirit that is going to support you today Spirit of the earth Spirit of the present moment Spirit of your own presence that you bring to each task that awaits you And then going along on your day Moving with presence Moving with the most enjoyment you can find moment to moment Sending you love for your day See you back tomorrow Be well Bye
