This is Check In Sounds.
In this check in we're going to do a breathing exercise called box breathing.
All we do in this exercise is to bring awareness and control to our breathing by counting as we breathe.
We will breathe in for the count of four,
Hold at the top of the inhale for the count of four,
Breathe out for the count of four and hold at the bottom of the exhale for the count of four.
This meditation is set to music.
The melody of the music will rise with the inhale and fall with the exhale and the beat will help you keep time.
At the start I will help you count and after that you can just follow along with the music.
We will begin in a few seconds,
So before we begin just start to bring awareness to your breathing and take a couple of natural breaths,
Breathing in and breathing out in your own time.
Now just breathe all the way out and we will begin to count.
