Let Us Be Peace

This gentle yet soaring anthem came to me in a friend's kitchen in Padova, Italy. It was March 2003, and I had just arrived into Italy with peace flags flying on every other balcony as far as I could see. They got it in a way we didn't. The next day the US started the Iraq war, and this song was born.
