Place yourself in a comfortable position that's right for you and let's begin.
Let's begin our meditative journey.
Find a comfortable position and begin to notice your breathing.
Allow yourself to relax.
We'll begin by noticing the physical body.
Notice your posture.
The sense of weight of your form against what you are sitting or lying upon.
Notice the imprint of your body in the environment.
Now notice your sense perception.
What's registering through your sense of sight?
Through your hearing.
Your sense of touch and temperature.
Of smell and taste.
Now notice how your breath is moving in your body and through your body.
Feel the rhythm.
And marvel at being alive in physical form.
If you have not already done so,
You might allow your eyes to close.
And let's begin to go deeper.
See if you can feel your skin breathing.
Notice the subtle currents of energy and the motion of life force flowing through your body.
Feel or hear the pulsing of your heart.
Imagine your breath flowing in and out through the center of your heart.
And notice the subtle texture of feeling.
Now experience yourself as space.
Begin to discover your limitlessness.
Feel where the light of your being meets infinite space.
Feel beyond your five senses.
Beyond thoughts and images.
Beyond any sense of time.
Identify with the part of you that is wholly still.
Completely silent.
Just is.
Be completely absorbed as now.
Notice the absence of any striving,
Of effort or of grasping.
Notice the qualities of serenity.
Notice joy.
Notice there is no dissatisfaction.
No need.
No fear.
Enjoy the constancy and vastness of this awareness.
And now,
Imagining a place where you feel safe,
Peaceful and easy.
A place for you that is comfortable,
Relaxed.
A place either made believe or real.
A place from your past or somewhere you've always wanted to go.
It doesn't really matter as long as it's a place that feels good,
Right and safe and peaceful for you.
And allowing the place to become real to you.
Looking around you.
Taking your place in with your eyes.
Enjoying the colors,
The scenery.
Looking over to your left and to your right.
And listening to the sounds of your place,
Wherever they might be.
Sound of a stream flowing in the distance.
The wind whispering through the trees.
Sounds of birds and squirrels.
A whole multi-layered texture of sound.
Allow your ears to become familiar with all of the beautiful music that your special place offers you.
And feel whatever you're sitting against or lying upon.
Or perhaps feeling the texture of the ground beneath your feet.
Or you might be in a cozy,
Comfy armchair or couch.
Maybe sitting on a nice warm rock in the sun.
Feel the air on your skin.
Crisp and dry.
Or balmy and wet.
Or maybe you're inside.
Feeling the warmth of a crackling fire.
Feeling the warmth on your face.
Maybe you're outside and there's just the subtlest hint of a fragrant,
Gentle breeze.
So just enjoy the feeling of your place on your skin and smelling its rich fragrance.
Feeling it all in,
All the richness of it,
With all of your senses.
Becoming more and more attuned to your comfortable,
Safe,
Beautiful,
Special place.
Just feeling thankful and happy to be here.
Allowing your body soaking in the vibrance of this place.
Letting its richness resonate all the way through you.
And opening your heart and your mind to receive these ideas that will begin to make a permanent,
Deep,
Vivid impression on your subconscious mind.
Each day in your daily life,
You will become more and more aware of the full,
Powerful,
Positive,
Creative expression of these ideas.
You can always trust the guidance of your inner wisdom.
