Wonder & Wander - A Contemplative Poem

I wrote this as I was reflecting on all the poets I have loved and admired throughout my life.
They all have so much n common and the most poignant part is that they "nudge" the soul deeper and higher.

I have learned the most in this life from the ones that wonder and wander.

About the poets.

Wonder,

Wonder.

They dream this life in another time and space.

They dream you and draw you as the eternal child.

What will you do with all the wonder from the poets?

Will you take their hand and live yourself into existence?

Will you love yourself back to when you were born?

That short reprieve?

Wonder,

Wonder.

All these poets know.

With eyes like saucers,

Eyes like love,

Eyes like planets from a different universe,

They smile for you.

It's because they understand you.

They choose to live in the land void of din,

Chaos,

And chasm.

In the land of wonder.
