We carry the guilt everywhere we go. Attachment to the past and suffering imprison us far from the present moment. Meditation is a form of liberation. Philosophy too. In this short series, I suggest you put your thoughts and meditations into practice.

I dare to say that guilt is the most useless of feelings.

Clinging to suffering in the past is as useful as tying yourself to a rock that sinks into a lake.

It is important that the past brings us lessons but we should not be chained to it.

Being present at the present moment is not just a nice phrase to post on your social media,

It is a constant effort for life.

In the present there is no suffering,

No anxiety.

Guilt is especially useless even when compared to other negative feelings.

For example,

Fear often does protect us.

Anger makes us act,

React,

Move.

Pain teaches lessons.

But guilt,

Guilt not,

It just imprisons us.

Now you start by realizing your faults and the faults you relate to others.

And get rid of that.

Remember that it is necessary to accept the limitations of each one,

Including those from your past self.

If there is a past attitude of yours that makes you feel guilty,

Remember that it was a decision you judged the best at the moment given the formation and limitations you had.

Now that it's gone,

It's super easy to look back and say I should have learned this instead of that.

Embrace your past self,

Learn from him,

Respect him and strive to be better in the present.
