Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Taking a moment to settle into your space.
Perhaps closing the door.
Supporting your knees with a pillow.
And closing down your physical eyes.
Take another big breath in.
And sigh it out.
Beginning to feel your body held and supported.
By the surface beneath you.
Place one hand over your heart.
And one on your belly.
As you breathe in,
Feel these major centers start to rise with breath.
As you breathe out,
Feel the weight of your hands melting into your body.
Beginning to feel the openness and the expanse as you breathe in.
And the softening and the release as you breathe out.
Taking a moment now to ask your body.
Where am I holding?
Self-blame.
Where am I holding resentment towards myself?
And placing your hands over wherever that shows up for you.
Perhaps over the shoulders.
The forehead.
The hips,
The belly.
Just allowing your hands to rest over these spaces.
Continuing to breathe all the way in.
And all the way out.
Allowing your hands to soften and land over these places.
Wherever that is for you.
And welcoming that self-blame,
That resentment.
Not trying to fix it.
Not trying to remove it.
Simply welcoming it.
Offering it to gentle halouts.
I see you.
And then asking it to step forward.
What does this self-blame,
This resentment look like?
Perhaps a version of self.
How old are they?
Take in the image of them.
And then offering out your hand.
To this version of self.
Telling them it's okay.
I see you.
You are safe here.
Taking their hands in yours.
Ask them if there's anything they want to share with you.
Receive their words.
Their emotions.
Holding space for them.
Allowing them this opportunity to release anything they've been holding onto.
Any fear.
Grieve.
Anger.
Hold this space for them.
Receiving them with kindness.
Compassion.
Perhaps nodding,
Acknowledging.
That's valid.
I can understand why you feel that way.
Allow them to share anything they need to release.
And take a big breath in.
And exhale through the mouth.
Thank them so much for sharing everything with you.
If they are open to it,
Offer them a hug,
An embrace.
And tell them.
You do not blame them for what they did.
Knowledge and know that they were only doing what they thought they had to do.
They were trying to stay safe.
And you understand that now.
You meet them at eye level.
And explain to them.
That you no longer blame them.
You no longer hold resentment.
You are grateful for their trust in sharing everything with you.
And you understand it's not your fault.
You are not to blame.
You were simply moving from a place.
Of fear,
Of shame.
And you understand that now.
You thank them again so much.
Extending immense gratitude and compassion and grace.
To this version of self.
And you ask them if it's okay for you to fully integrate this version.
To welcome these parts of you back into yourself,
Healed.
Integrated.
And love.
And if they said no,
That's okay.
Continue to hold space for them.
Not trying to fix.
Just allowing space for them to breathe.
And if they said yes.
I want you to wrap your arms around them.
Holding one another in a gentle embrace.
Welcoming in these parts of you.
Back into self,
Into wholeness.
Allowing your body to fully absorb these healed and integrated versions of self.
Staying here as long as you need,
Holding space,
Or integrating.
And allowing yourself to come out of this space.
Back to the physical body.
When you are ready.
