Imagine your body as a body of water,
A clear lake.
And as you breathe in and release it out,
Let each exhale carry more and more tension and stress away.
Now bring your attention to your feet.
Notice if you're carrying any tightness in your feet.
If so,
Just soften there.
Let it out.
Allow a soft heaviness to come into your feet.
Move your attention up to your calves and your shins.
Ascend your breath there.
Soften all around your knees,
Continuing the breath in and out evenly and relaxing more deeply.
Now move your attention upwards,
Releasing your quads and your upper legs.
Imagine any tension that's there seeping away.
On your next inhale,
Imagine your breath moving into your hips.
Allow that area to open up.
As you exhale,
Allow any stress or any tension to just melt away.
Now let your belly fully release.
Relax your torso and your chest.
Just let the stress drip away,
Away,
Away.
Now move your attention to your upper back and shoulders.
Let any tension melt right off and drip down your back.
Soften your neck,
Your jaw,
Your tongue.
Relax your brow.
Let go of all the tension you hold there.
Release your upper and lower arms,
Hands and fingers.
Now bring your attention to the spot on your forehead right between your eyes.
Notice there's a beam of light stretching out from your forehead.
It's a strong,
Solid light.
Notice if that beam of light is white or if it has a set of colors.
Notice that this beam of light stretches all the way up to the sky above you.
It stretches as far as you can see.
Now step onto that light and begin to travel on this beam of light.
Imagine yourself floating up,
Up,
Up.
Just let yourself walk along the beam and up and out of the area you are now.
Continue following the beam upwards.
It takes you higher and higher.
When you look back,
You see the buildings that were all around you and you watch as they get smaller and smaller.
As you travel upward,
Notice the beauty of the sky and the clouds as you move through them.
Now when you look back,
You see the whole town and all of the buildings below you.
You continue to travel higher and now you see the whole state behind you.
Move up and up until you can now see the beautiful green and blue glow that is Earth.
Travel upward still until you reach a blue-black space,
Silent,
Velvety,
Dark,
And peaceful.
Now you notice that there's another beam of light next to the one you're standing on.
Notice the color and the quality of that beam.
Notice that this new beam stretches all the way back down towards the Earth.
Notice that this beam reaches towards the Earth 10 years into the future,
10 years from now.
Go ahead now and step onto that beam.
Let it gracefully carry you down,
Down,
Down.
Notice Earth starting to come into focus again,
The contours starting to get clearer and larger in your view.
Enjoy passing through the clouds again as you start to go back down.
And as you begin to get closer to Earth,
Start to notice that you're going to the home,
The dwelling place of your future self,
Yourself 10 years from now.
This beam is taking you to meet that future self.
Notice what part of the world you're in.

Take in her presence and her face.
Enter the home and notice the inside of her house.
Notice how she offers you something to drink and something to eat.
She brings you now to one of her favorite spots in the house for a chat.
She is present and ready to listen to you and share with you.
Ask her what has mattered most to her over the past 10 years.
She might answer you in words or just a feeling or a facial expression.
Pay attention to what she has to say.
Ask her,
What do I need to know to get from where I am to where you are?
What do I need to know?
Listen to her answer.
Again,
It may be in words,
Facial expressions,
Or just by giving you a certain feeling.
Ask her now,
What will help me be true to myself?
Listen to her answers.
Let her answers surprise you.
Now,
Go ahead and ask her anything else you'd like to ask,
Big or small.
You can ask her about a dilemma or a difficult situation in your life or anything else you'd like to hear her perspective on.

Be open to whatever surprising name shows up first here.

Bring your visit with her to a close,
Knowing you can come back and visit any time.

Make your way out of the house and find your way back to the beam that brought you to her.

And make your way to that beam.

Step back on the beam and let it begin to carry you upward again.
You look back and watch her home getting smaller and smaller beneath you as you move through the clouds and then back up to that dark blue-black space.
Allow yourself to be carried up,

Notice that next to the beam you're on is the original beam that you traveled on.
When you're ready,
Step back onto that beam and begin to travel back down,
Back to present time.
And as you travel down,
Start to see the earth coming into focus below you.
See the landscape of your part of the world,
Country,
Or region.
See your city from this bird's-eye view.
Follow this beam all the way back down to where your journey began.
Come off the beam.
Slowly sit back down and come back into your body.
Feel your toes and fingers.
You can wiggle them a bit.
Feel the support of the ground beneath you.
Focus now on your breath.
Let's breathe in together.
