Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Perhaps laying down for today's meditation.
As you get settled in a comfortable position,
Take your time slowing down your rhythm.
Take your time with some nice even inhales and exhales.
Taking a nice inhale through the nose,
Exhaling out your mouth with a sigh.
Two more inhales and exhales just like that.
Nice and full.
Nice releasing sigh on the exhale.
Giving your body a chance to settle,
To become heavy.
Giving your breath a chance to find its rhythm of full inhales and full exhales.
Giving your mind a chance to meet you in your body,
In your practice today.
Begin to bring your awareness to your heart,
Perhaps placing one or both of your hands on top of your physical heart.
Practicing with your breath,
Imagining that your inhale travels into your heart,
Swirls around and your exhale moves out from your heart.
Putting in fresh,
Clean energy and oxygen into your heart,
Where it swirls,
It dances with your heartbeat.
And then exhales back out your body.
A nice gentle and easy rhythm in and out through your heart with each inhale and exhale.
Connecting here with the heart chakra.
Taking time to imagine a beautiful ball of glowing green energy in the center of your chest.
This beautiful ball of glowing green energy swirls and dances.
There's movement in this energy.
As you continue to bring your focus to your heart,
This ball of green energy becomes bigger.
It fills up your entire chest.
This green energy and green light brings ease to your breath and your body.
It soothes your emotions and your feelings.
It nurtures and softly holds your spirit.
Allow this beautiful green light and energy to keep filling your chest.
Perhaps it keeps growing and spreading throughout your entire body to every nook and cranny,
Every layer,
Every tissue,
Into every cell.
Just soothing this easy,
This gentle green energy and light.
Connecting you to the wisdom of your heart.
The wisdom of giving and receiving.
The wisdom of compassion,
Of gentleness,
Of ease,
And the strength that comes with this wisdom.
