Welcome to your long and large intestine release meditation.
In this meditation,
You will learn to honor what you have lost without carrying it forever.
Find a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle.
Feel the support beneath you.
Relax your shoulders.
That's off in your jaw.
Soften your chest.
Notice your breath.
On your inhale,
You take in new life.
And when you exhale,
You let go.
There's no need to hold on to either one.
She's smiling.
Notice your breath.
Inhale new life.
Exhale,
Let go.
Inhale new life.
Exhale,
Let go.
The lung and large intestinal meridians are associated with grief.
But they're also associated with breath,
Boundaries,
Discernment.
In the process of letting go.
Today.
You will not force yourself to move past grief.
Instead.
You will allow yourself to move past grief.
Allow what's been.
About what is.
And make space for what comes next.
Bring your awareness to your chest.
To your lungs.
Your upper back.
Your shoulders.
Your throat.
Your abdomen.
Notice your breath moving through you.
But sensations are present.
Is a tightness.
Is it openness?
Is it heaviness?
Their pressure.
Is there nothing at all?
There's no correct answer.
Simply listen.
And ask yourself.
What am I feeling?
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
Imagine the exhale carrying something out of your body.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
Feel the space after your breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Let the silence linger for just a moment.
Bring something to your mind that you've lost.
A person.
A relationship.
Yourself.
A dream.
Uh-huh a period of your life.
No need to go deep into the memory,
Just recall.
Acknowledge that something matters.
What emotion is present?
Sadness.
Longing.
Anger.
Is it numbness?
Love.
Or maybe in several emotions at once.
Whatever it is.
Give the feeling permission to exist.
And notice where it lives in your body.
Is it in your chest?
Your throat.
Your belly.
Your face.
Your shoulders.
Ask yourself,
What is this emotion trying to tell me?
Isn't that something magic?
Is it to honor what was?
Is it asking you to release something?
Take a breath.
And remember,
Release does not mean to forget.
Release does not mean that what happened doesn't matter.
That relief means you no longer have to carry it in the same way.
Take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Imagine setting down a small piece of what you've been carrying so that you can honor it.
And still let it go.
Ask yourself.
What would it feel like to no longer carry what I'm ready to release?
Inhale.
And exhale.
You are clear.
You are precise.
You are strong.
You have boundaries.
You are clean.
With every inhale,
Imagine creating space.
Inhale.
Make space for acceptance.
Exhale slowly.
Release resistance.
Inhale,
Create space for release.
Exhale.
Let go.
Inhale,
Create space for clarity exhale.
Let go of what is no longer needed.
And can honor what has been lost.
And still make room for what remains.
Place one hand on your chest.
Take a slow breath in.
And exhale.
Repeat these mantras.
I'm allowed to grieve.
I'm allowed to release.
I'm allowed to begin again.
Inhale.
And exhales.
I can honor what I've lost without carrying it forever.
Rest here for a moment.
Feel your breaths.
Notice the space around you.
Move your fingers.
Move your toe.
And gently return to the room.
