Choose Self-Acceptance Over Self-Depreciation
In this session you will learn how to choose self-acceptance over self-deprecation. We’ll discuss the reasons why we don’t accept ourselves, the benefits of practising self-acceptance and most importantly, I’ll guide you through a meditation practice to help you to begin your journey towards a more loving and accepting relationship with yourself. This lesson will set the foundation for the entire course by providing you with a clear understanding of what has been holding you back from accepting yourself in the past. .

Befriend Your Inner Critic
In this session you will learn how to release your inner critic, the negative self-talk that has been keeping you stuck in state of self-deprecation. We’ll discuss the role of the inner critic, the fact that this inner voice is ultimately there to protect us, and how we can start to change the way we engage with our critical companion by giving it a name. The guided meditation in this session will provide you with the opportunity to create a persona for your inner critic, which in turn will help to neutralize its effect.

Retrain Your Judgemental Mind
In this session you will learn how to retrain your judgemental mind and break the cycle of your habitual, unhelpful thinking patterns. We’ll discuss the minds negative bias and the reasons why we automatically focus our attention on our perceived flaws, mistakes and deficiencies, rather than our strengths and accomplishments. I’ll share with you a simple five step process to help you catch yourself in the throes of negativity, which we’ll work through together in our meditation practice.

Stop Comparing Yourself
In this session you will learn how to release your tendency to measure your self-worth by comparing yourself to others. We’ll discuss the impact that social media has on our self-esteem, the reasons why we habitually measure ourselves against others, and of course, I’ll share with you three simple strategies for releasing comparisons. At the end of this lesson, I’ll guide you through a meditation practice that will help you to break free from the comparison trap and realise your uniqueness.

Forgive Yourself For Being Imperfect
In this session you will learn how forgive yourself for your imperfections, mistakes, flaws and humanness. We’ll discuss the role perfectionism has to play in preventing us from truly accepting ourselves and the importance of forgiving ourselves for being fallible human beings. Today’s guided meditation practice will help you to forgive yourself for being imperfect, and for any past mistakes you may have made.

Cultivate Self-Compassion
In this session you will learn how to cultivate an unconditionally kind, compassionate and loving relationship with yourself. We’ll discuss the practice of mindful self-compassion and the reasons why we should start to engage with ourselves as if we were a dear friend, rather than an enemy. I’ll share with you some simple strategies to cultivate self-compassion in your daily life, and most importantly, I’ll guide you through a loving-kindness meditation practice.

Be Authentic
In this session you will learn how to live from a place of unwavering authenticity. We’ll discuss the reasons why we hide our true selves, the benefits of bringing this version of yourself to light and of course, I’ll share with you three simple strategies to embrace your authentic self. At the end of this lesson, I’ll guide you through a meditation practice that will help you to reconnect with the person you are at the core of your being.

Learn to Love Your Body
In this session you will learn how to foster a more loving and accepting relationship with your body. We’ll discuss the global body image issue and the reasons why we struggle to accept our physical appearances. I’ll share with you three gentle practices that will help you to shift the way in which you engage with your body, followed by a guided meditation to assist you in cultivating a deep sense of gratitude for all that your body does for you each day.

Realise Your Inherent Worth
In this session you will learn how to improve your sense of self-worth and realise that you are already enough, just as you are. We’ll discuss the universal fear of not being ‘enough’ and what it means to have a strong sense of self. I’ll share with you three simple strategies to help you improve your own sense of self-worth, and most importantly, I’ll guide you through an affirmation based meditation practice to assist you in realising your own inherent worth.

Reflection
In this session you will receive a brief summary of everything we’ve covered throughout this course. We’ll discuss each of the most important topics included within each lesson, and most importantly, we’ll conclude with a meditation practice that will allow you to say ‘thank you’ to yourself for the amazing work you’ve done to develop your own sense of self-acceptance.
