The longest night is the start of winter, and the close of fall, my favourite season. Although it is a long night, and so often, light snow falls, and at the end, the sun still rises. In this piece, one can imagine the birds singing at sunrise, after the night and the snow. There is always hope.

Beautiful song. I didn’t listen on the longest night, but it was beautiful all the same. I actually became very reflective during this. This Christmas was so different from all our other Christmases in the past. So, while this was playing I was in the past, not necessarily regretting this year, just wishing our whole family could have been together as we should be. Thanks for this trip down memory lane. I’m grateful for all us still being healthy and I’m grateful for the time I take to meditate and remember this. And I’m grateful for people like you, who take the time to make music and share it with us. 💗🙏🏻🥰
