How to love ourselves.

I'm sharing this in first person.

So that I can model the type of inner dialogue.

An inner standing.

That can lead to more self-love.

As you listen.

Think of this as your own self-talk.

I need to be at a point in which I am first whole within myself.

To do that.

Crucial to acknowledge.

And accept.

My own imperfections.

My own shortcomings.

By addressing them and taking steps to improve.

I am essentially loving myself more.

Allowing myself.

Grow.

And change.

And once I'm in that space.

Of self-love.

And self-grows only then.

I can enter relationships.

With the expectation of adding to my happiness.

Not depending on those relationships.

To create it.

Because remember.

The love we seek from others.

Is often the love We have failed to give to ourselves.

Self-love.

Is also about taking care of ourselves.

In many ways.

Physically,

Emotionally,

Spiritually.

It's about doing the things that make us feel good.

About ourselves.

That contribute.

To our overall well-being.

For some,

That might mean.

Reading a book.

Taking a walk.

Even engaging in a fitness program.

For others.

Could mean meditating.

Praying.

Or doing yoga.

Ultimately,

Self-love is a journey.

Process that involves recognizing our worth and understanding.

That we deserve to be cared for.

By ourselves.

And by others.

It's about.

Acknowledging our past.

Accepting.

Are present.

Looking forward.

To our future.

Where?

We can be.

Best versions of ourselves.
