
Safe Place Meditation + Spirit Guide Messages
This track is in dedication to the late Carmel Clark, a dearly missed EMDR Therapist and Medium. I invite you to visit this meditation when you are in search of deepening a connection to your inner self and inner child, and for when you require additional assurance that you are safe, you are held, and you are loved. Enter this guided space with deep nostril breathing and an openness to receiving wonderful messages from your guides and spiritual figures whilst visiting your safe place behind your mind's eye.
Transcript
I invite you to close your eyes now and noticing your body in the chair and where your lower back is supported in the chair.
Feeling your legs gently supported and your arms and your hands and become aware of your feet held by the floor.
That's beautiful.
And now take your attention to your breath.
Nice deep inhalation through your nose,
Keeping your mouth closed,
Exhale through your nose again.
Feeling that slight constriction in the back of your throat,
Beautiful ocean breath out.
Just observing the gentle rise and fall of your own natural breath in your body.
Observing the inhalation and the exhalation and just allowing your body to settle into this moment.
Take your attention now to your head,
Becoming aware of any stress or holding that may reside there.
I'm going to invite that you breathe into your head now.
So imagine that the breath can go all the way into your head and on the exhalation,
You can allow the scalp to soften.
Breathing now into your forehead and again as you allow the breath to go,
The forehead softens and relaxes.
Breathing now into your eyes,
Softening and loosening with the exhalation.
Breathing into your cheekbones and your nose and letting go with the out-breath,
Softening and relaxing.
Breathing into your jaw now and your mouth and beginning to just letting every part of your body coming into a state of relaxation and releasing any tension with your breathing.
Beautiful.
Taking your attention now to your neck and breathing into your neck and into your ears and as you do this,
Just letting go with every exhalation and softening and releasing.
Breathing into your upper back now and shoulders and as you let go,
Just allow the shoulders that often hold so much tension,
Just that extra relaxation and releasing.
And again,
Just breathing deep into the shoulders now,
Just noticing any holding that may be there and just allow the out-breath to release and unwind and let go of any tension that you may find there.
And softening and releasing.
Breathing in now to the mid-chest and the mid-back,
Again noticing any holding and just relax as you let go.
Breathing now into the stomach and the lower back and just letting everything go.
That's it.
Breathe.
Good.
So just noticing the body unwinding.
Breathing now into the solar plexus,
Sacrum area,
Your sexual center and just relaxing.
Letting go.
So taking your attention now to your arms.
Breathing deeply into your arms now.
And on the exhale,
You can imagine the breath going down your arms,
Down your hands and out through your fingertips into the space around you and back into the ether.
Good.
Now breathing into your legs.
And on your exhalation,
You can imagine your breath going down your legs,
Past your knees,
Past your lower legs,
Through your feet and out through your toes into the floor,
The ground and the earth beneath you.
That's it.
Beautiful.
So again,
Just become aware of your body in the chair and just scanning your body now,
Noticing if there's anywhere else in this moment that needs your breath.
Just any stress that may be left.
Just that little bit more,
That extra release,
That extra holding.
Just notice where it is and breathe into that part of your being now.
And again,
On the exhalation,
Allow the body to soften and loosen.
Relax and gently spread.
So once more,
Taking your attention to your natural breath.
Just observing its own rise and fall.
Noticing as you do this,
That you can invite into your mind now a peaceful place.
I want you to imagine the most beautiful,
Peaceful place that you could ever imagine coming to your mind now.
And allow this image of the most beautiful,
Peaceful place to start to form in your mind's eye right now.
And I imagine you look around as if you were there in this most beautiful and peaceful place and become aware as you stand there and look around.
You see the magnificent colors of this place.
Notice how radiant it is.
Notice the textures and the warmth of this beautiful place.
Notice that you feel safe standing there as you look around you.
Just feeling the earth beneath your feet in whatever way it comes.
Breathing in the beautiful aromas that this place offers you.
Just noticing the scent that fills your nose as you breathe the aromas deep into your being.
Be aware that it has such incredible healing characteristics as you breathe it in and exhale it out.
And noticing the sounds that this place offers you today.
Become aware of the surrounding sounds and the murmurs of this beautiful,
Peaceful place.
Just noticing what they are with an open curiosity as they filter into your hearing now.
And now as you look around you,
You'll notice that there is a perfect place for you to lie your body down on.
And as you find that perfect place,
You allow yourself the pleasure of lying your body down in this place.
And as you do this,
You feel the softness of the ground and surface beneath you.
You feel it holding you unconditionally.
And you can allow your body to relax and unwind even more in this moment.
It's as if this place and you give yourself permission to let go even more.
Surrendering in this moment and letting go.
And as you lie there feeling peaceful,
You can become aware that there is a peaceful,
Protective light that surrounds your place.
And notice what the color of that protective light is.
And as you see it,
You can know that only you can invite whatever you want into this peaceful,
Beautiful place of yours.
So you can lie there and feel safe.
And you can let go and let your body unwind even more.
And as you lie there,
You can become aware that on the left side of you,
A nurturing figure has arrived.
This is a figure of unconditional love for you.
And you get a sense of their presence on the left side of your body.
And as you sense their presence,
You feel their love and you feel the gentleness of their touch on your left shoulder.
And they have a message of love for you that they wish for you to hear today.
And as you hear this message in whatever way it comes,
You breathe it deep into your being and let everything else go.
You let this message permeate through you as you breathe it in.
Take a series of breaths with this figure now.
Beautiful.
Good.
Now,
Begin to notice that on the right side of your body,
Your protective figure has arrived.
And as you sense their presence next to you,
You feel their unconditional compassion and strength for you.
You sense that their presence and their power as they gently touch your right shoulder.
And as you hear their message of strength that they have for you today,
In whatever way it appears,
You breathe the message of strength into your being now.
Take a series of breaths with this figure and allow for the absorption of their message.
That's it.
Keep breathing.
Almost there.
Beautiful.
Yes.
Notice that right in front of you,
Your wise figure has arrived.
And as you look deep into their eyes,
In whichever way and however way they appear,
You just allow whatever to happen to happen.
You get a sense that their incredible wisdom radiates around you.
They too have a message for you.
And they know this is a message you need to hear now.
And as you hear their wise words and however,
Whichever way they appear,
You breathe it deep into your being and take a series of breaths with the wise figure and surrender to their wisdom.
Almost there.
Now,
These three figures form a circle around you.
They join and you are safe within their circle.
Feeling what it feels like to be surrounded by love,
Strength,
And wisdom.
You can allow your body to relax and your mind to relax even more now.
Feeling held,
Feeling nurtured,
And feeling loved.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Again,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up your body,
Your chest,
And your head.
All the way down to the base of your spine.
And let it go.
Big sigh it out.
And once again,
Deep,
Deep inhale,
Breathe it through your nose.
Filling up your belly,
Chest,
Top of the head.
Take a few more sips in at the top.
And seal your lips,
Release it out through your nose.
Let everything go once more.
And so,
In this moment,
Become aware of your body again.
Become aware of the base of your spine.
Held and supported in the chair.
Become aware of the space and the surface beneath your feet again.
Once more,
Feeling grounded in this moment.
Noticing how relaxed you feel.
Noticing how calm and peaceful you are now.
And just enjoying that sense for a moment.
And when you are ready,
In your own gentle time,
Just coming back into the room or surroundings that you are in.
And when you feel ready,
Just opening your eyes.
