Hello,
My name is Ashley and today I'll be diving into the astrology of 2026 and offering wellness practices to balance the planetary shifts and transits.
This summer,
On July 1st,
Jupiter will enter the fixed fire sign Leo for the next year.
Jupiter takes about 12 years to complete a full zodiac cycle,
Making it easy to remember that Jupiter changes signs roughly once a year,
Every year,
Since it moves a bit faster in our sky than Saturn,
Uranus,
And Neptune.
The last time Jupiter was in Leo would be about 12 years ago,
On July 16th,
2014.
Think back to that summer in your life.
Was it a joyful and playful summer?
I personally remember it as the most fun and carefree summer and I'm so excited we get to experience it again to lighten the other intense planetary energies of 2026.
What Jupiter in Leo means is that we may all feel a collective confidence and radiance surging through us as we enter the summer.
Jupiter is a positive,
Expansive,
Benefic planet and Leo carries the essence of playfulness,
Joy,
Creativity,
And inner child.
Alongside,
The Saturn and Neptune transits into Aries earlier in the year to charge us forward towards our sense of self.
By summer,
We are here to be fully seen in our light.
We all may feel called to take life less seriously,
Embrace more play in our lives,
And let our inner child take the reins for a little bit.
We might also experience a resurgence in our creative endeavors that allow our souls to express authentically and find abundance in finally being our whole selves.
Wellness for when Jupiter enters Leo To really embody this transit,
I recommend the practice Soul Collage.
It's normally used in therapy to deal with grief,
But it's also immensely helpful to unleash your creativity,
Think less,
And allow your soul to speak.
It's almost like vision boarding,
But instead of finding images of your desired feature,
You'll cut out and arrange images in a way that just speaks to your soul.
It doesn't have to make sense or have an artistic aesthetic.
Sometimes your soul just naturally creates the most beautiful things.
I recommend finding a therapy center that offers group Soul Collage or art therapy or collecting magazines and creating it by hand at home.
You can also look up the Soul Collage method to learn more about this practice.
Another wellness practice for Jupiter and Leo is a somatic grounding practice.
Because Jupiter and Leo may be very excitable,
May inflate the ego a little bit.
It may feel like you want to be really seen and witnessed.
And the somatic grounding practice is a great way to practice humility,
To come back to your sense and uniqueness as an individual,
But also as an individual within a collective consciousness.
Really,
This somatic grounding practice can be used to help you surrender any remnants of ego when you feel an overly inflated sense of importance or that your needs matter more over others.
So I recommend this practice just by laying on the earth,
Practicing yoga or meditation in community,
In a group practice,
Just to remember the power of community and the power of gathering all together and putting others' needs above your own.
Thank you for listening to this little chat on Jupiter and Leo.
I hope this gave you more information about what this transit means,
What the qualities of Jupiter involve,
And the qualities of the fixed fire sign Leo.
And I hope you enjoyed and can use this as a way to get excited for the summer ahead.
Thank you so much for listening.
