Ambitious, Productive, Disciplined. The first new moon of the year enters the sign of Capricorn on January 11th at 6:57 AM EDT. With its angel number date 111, the essence of Capricorn has never been clearer to boost confidence, commit to our long term goals and motivation by self-discipline. With its mountain moving endurance and leadership, this austere cardinal earth sign invites us to set intentions around our legacy. Working hard and self restraint are second nature to Capricorn and with it being in the sign of this new moon can we become emotionally self-aware of how we self-discipline? Can self-denial support or detract from the gravity of your achievements? This new moon ritual will release stale long-term visions that no longer serve your purpose and manifest a sense of responsibility, stamina and self-discipline needed to initiate aligned action towards your long-term goals.

This Capricorn new moon initiates us into the new year with a supercharged glimpse at our long-term goals and ambitions.

With its mountain-moving endurance and leadership,

This cardinal earth sign invites us to set intentions around our legacy.

Working hard and self-restraint are second nature to Capricorn,

And with it being the sign of this new moon,

Can we become emotionally self-aware of how we self-discipline?

Can denying yourself support or detract from the gravity of your achievements?

This new moon ritual will release stale,

Long-term visions that no longer serve your purpose and revitalize aligned ambitions and balance self-discipline.

So let's begin by preparing for your new moon ritual with love and ease.

Finding a room you feel safe and spiritually connected in.

Arriving in an easy seat,

Tailbone rooted into the earth and crown of the head reaching for the dark night sky.

Find your shoulders relaxed,

Loosen your jaw,

Allow the ears to drop,

And listen in.

Start by collecting your awareness to your lower body.

Breathe into your feet and legs.

On the inhale,

Feel them expand.

On the exhale,

Feel them relax and let go.

Now breathe into the abdomen.

Feel the abdomen breathing as if it's doing it completely on its own.

Direct the breath to your chest,

Upper back and shoulders.

Feel these areas expanding with each breath in and relax and contract with each breath out.

Spread the breath over to the arms and down to the hands.

Breathe evenly and equally into both arms and hands.

Feel the arms breathing for you as if your arms and hands take in and release each breath.

Now feel the neck,

Throat,

And head breathe.

Feel this area breathe on its own,

Broadening with each inhale and settling with each exhale.

Breathe into each corner of the whole body.

Your entire body expands as you breathe in and contracts and relaxes as you breathe out.

Absorb the oxygen through your skin as it crosses through the membrane of your physical body and into the membrane of your energetic body.

After the nourishing breath has permeated every cell in your body,

Let go and return to your natural breathing pattern.

Bring to mind any stale goals,

Visions,

Or expired ambitions you'd like to release,

That you'd like to put to rest and bury so you can make space for greater things to come.

Inhale and see what you'd like to release clearly.

Exhale,

Put it to rest.

Inhale that stale goal you had within you.

Exhale,

Allow yourself to let it go.

Inhale the hope and excitement for new opportunities.

Exhale and initiate that intention out.

Now that we've cleaned the slate,

Begin to welcome a new vision for your long-term goals or maybe your ambitions around career.

What would you like to achieve?

What do you want to be known for?

Take a moment to dream up your legacy.

Begin to reflect.

How can I practice self-discipline to take aligned action?

How can I find balance between self-care and self-restraint?

Imagine the pure light of the new moon beaming over you.

Its luminance permeates your hair,

Then your skin,

Eventually down to your joints.

Feel this light clear out your retired visions,

Goals,

And expectations you had for yourself.

Your ambitions undergo a rebirth in order to revitalize.

Ask the new moon to set into motion your renewed goals for achievement,

To pave a way for your long-term plan.

Trust and know that the moon will provide you with the earthly resources you require to fulfill your goals.

Trust that you have control in how you redirect your energy to manifest your legacy.

Kindly ask the new moon to manifest endurance,

Discipline,

And love to initiate aligned action.

Immerse in the sensation of the white light,

Trust and gratitude as it eventually fully encapsulates your body.

Open the mind,

Open the heart,

Be receptive to any sensations that may come up.

With the heart open,

Radiate empathy and compassion to the new moon,

For she can't be seen but felt.

Send gratitude and appreciation for her unyielding presence that creates a portal for release and wisdom every 29 days.

Emanate love to the moon,

Intertwining your cosmic energy with her cosmic energy.

Align your awareness with your breath.

Breathe into your physical borders of the space you take up.

Close your meditation ritual by placing your palms on your heart.

And bowing in gratitude,

Gently flutter the eyes open and journal on any insight you received or on the following prompt.

What long-term ambition lights your soul up the most and why?

What is one action you can take to bring this ambition to life?

Thank you so much for joining me.

Happy new moon in Capricorn.
