Welcome to Meditation 101 with Aviva.

This meditation is dedicated to accepting change in our lives.

In fact,

I wrote it.

I am so excited to share this with you.

I hope it inspires you through your spiritual journeys and all the changes that you are going through in your present life.

Let's get ready to meditate.

Pick a posture that you're comfortable in.

For this meditation,

I recommend lying down,

But if you don't want to,

That's okay.

You can either sit in a chair with your feet on the floor,

Or you can sit with your legs crossed with your feet underneath your knees,

Or if you're flexible,

On top.

Or you can kneel,

Whatever makes you comfortable.

And I'd like you to gently close your eyes and place your hands on your belly.

And if you'd like even your heart.

Today,

I accept all the changes in my present life,

Moment to moment.

There are always changes.

Perhaps when you think about your changes,

Different feelings arise.

Perhaps you feel sad.

Perhaps you feel happy.

Perhaps you feel scared.

Perhaps you feel mixed emotions.

Focus in on those feelings and take a deep breath in and take a deep breath out.

Breathe in all the positive feelings you have for change and breathe out all the negative feelings you have.

And as you breathe in,

Open your heart and your mind for all these changes.

And I'd like you to do this a couple more times on your own.

One breath at a time.

Open your heart and open your mind as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

Now imagine you are walking towards a beautiful lake and when you arrive,

You see all your changes floating around the lake one by one.

Gently touch the water with your fingertips.

As each change touches your fingertips,

You feel more and more accepting of these changes.

As you come back to the present moment,

Focus on your breath and repeat after me either out loud or to yourself.

I am strong.

I am fearless.

I am embracing change with an open heart and an open mind.

Today I accept all the changes in my present life.

This is now the end of your meditation.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and welcome all of the changes with an open heart and an open mind.

I wish you well on your spiritual journeys.

Remember forever we are mindful together.
