Hello and welcome to today's episode.
Today we are diving deep into spirit guides and who is actually made up of your spiritual team.
Now for those of you who don't know me,
I'm Athena Bailey,
I'm a channeler,
Trans channeler and I teach channeling to others.
And connecting to my spiritual team is something that I use for absolutely everything from my business,
To my relationships,
To my personal life.
And part of connecting to your spiritual team is actually understanding who is made up on your spiritual team,
Right?
Like who are the beings that are working with you on your spiritual team?
Because there are a lot of different types of guides or beings that are supporting you in this lifetime.
So in this episode I'm going to explain to you who the different types of guides are working with,
What you can work with them for and how you can begin to actually start connecting with them in your day-to-day life.
So as a general concept,
Spirit guides are these high dimensional light beings who are supporting you in this lifetime.
Everybody has them,
Right?
But who is on your spiritual team changes for everyone.
So that's what's unique about having spirit guides,
That changes from person to person,
Right?
So first off we have this spiritual team and I work with people's and my own spiritual teams pretty broadly.
But I also get really intentional.
So I will often ask when I'm connecting to someone's spiritual team,
Who is the guide that is working with this person's relationships,
This person's business guides?
Because we have guides that support all of these different areas in our life,
Right?
So it is up to us to learn who those guides are and actually take time to connect in with them,
Right?
We have guides supporting us in all these different areas of our lives.
The first,
However,
That I want to start talking to you about that everybody has are angels,
Right?
Beautiful angelic beings.
Angels have their own spiritual hierarchy,
The same way we have the plant kingdom,
The crystal kingdom,
The human kingdom.
We have the angelic kingdom and angels are rooted,
Anchored into divine service,
Service and the energy of unconditional love,
Which makes them really terrific for helping us humans on our path here with supporting,
Sending us love,
Healing and protection.
Those are kind of the top things when we think about angels.
Like if you're,
If ever I need protection,
I call them my angels.
Like that is my go-to when it comes to needing to protect something,
Whether I'm on a flight,
Whether I'm in my car,
Whatever it is,
Even if I just want to protect my energy,
My angels are who I go to in terms of actual protection.
Angels are also really good when you want to receive unconditional love.
So for example,
If you're feeling really low,
You're needing some support,
Your angels are the ones that you can call in and support.
Now,
You might have heard of the archangels,
Like Archangel Michael,
Raphael,
Gabriel,
All of these different guides.
The thing about these higher archangels is they are serving a lot of people all at once.
So very often they might not be working with you specifically a lot and like that really depends.
Some people already have archangels working with them and they don't even know,
But it's usually you're better off actually calling them individually.
Who are the different archangels?
What are they kind of responsible working with?
Let me call upon them and ask them for help.
If you're completely new to asking spirit for help,
Angels are the best place to start because you're just going to feel unconditional love,
You're going to feel the support.
They leave little things like feathers behind for them to connect with you,
Angel numbers.
They're a really great place to start.
Now on your spiritual team,
You're going to have your own personal guardian angels and these are angels who have agreed to look after you in this lifetime.
They're going to be with you your whole entire life and these are your angels that are unique to you.
So you can kind of see how important it is to have a relationship with these angels that have chosen you and are working with you your whole entire life and they love you unconditionally,
Just like the rest of your spiritual team.
So angels are kind of like the number one connection piece to go to if you're new to it all.
Secondly,
We have our higher self.
If you're a little bit confident and comfortable with speaking to your spiritual team,
You've called in your guides,
Your angels and you're like,
I'm ready for something more.
Connecting to your higher self is the kind of next step.
Now when it comes to channeling,
Channeling your own higher self is probably the hardest to channel because it is so similar to your own energy.
Most people don't recognize that it is a different energy that is speaking to you because it's so close to your own energy.
But your higher self is like the higher version of you,
Right?
And we have these different levels of your higher self,
Right?
Like it's not just higher self,
The soul is a part of that.
Then you have your higher self,
Then you have your over self,
Then your monadic self.
So those are like higher versions of your higher self,
Right?
So where you are right now,
A soul in a human body,
Your next highest connection is your higher self.
And that is the one who holds all the information about your soul purpose,
Your soul gifts,
What you're here to do.
And it's really important to connect with your higher self too because they're always guiding and making sure that you are on track and doing what this soul body came here to do.
Third,
We have general guides.
And I say this as a loose terms because it can be made up of deities,
Ascended master,
Goddesses,
Gods.
Some examples of this are like Apollo,
Isis.
Those are deities that I've worked with quite a bit.
I had a previous lifetime where I was a trans channel for Apollo.
And even before I knew that,
Apollo was someone that I channeled a lot and regularly he was often coming through for me.
Goddess Isis,
I've served in lifetimes where I've been a priestess for Isis.
So she's someone that I connect to really deeply who comes through in that way.
Saint Germain,
He's an ascended master.
And ascended master means that they've had an evolution here in this human realm and they've done all the work and they've basically had an ascension experience,
Right?
So some other ascended masters are Jesus,
Saint Germain,
Buddha.
And they're really great to connect to because they understand the human experience,
Right?
And usually they will actually find you.
That's been my experience with ascended masters.
Saint Germain has been working with me since I was about 16 and he really found me and began to work with me.
So these usually pick you and you can pick them.
There are so many resources now and different guides.
If you feel a pull,
If you feel a connection,
You can call them in and say,
Hey,
I'm interested in working with you.
Can you help me with this?
Can you support me with this?
But we're talking about various deities.
Goddess Athena,
That's another one for example.
So these are all of these higher beings.
Usually what I find with these deities,
Ascended masters that are working with you,
They are here for a season or for a reason.
They're not here from the day you were born to the day you die.
Now some of them might be,
But the majority aren't.
The majority,
So let me give you an example actually.
So when I first started trans-channeling,
One of the guides who made himself known to me that he was working with me is Thoth.
And even now when I'm supporting someone on their channeling path or they're really starting to step into it,
Thoth often comes forward and actually supports that person because that's part of what he is here to do,
To help humanity like step into this channeling higher knowledge,
Alchemical knowledge.
And so he can come through when a person is going through that.
Now Thoth was a part of my team really focusing on helping me step into my channeling work,
But it's kind of like I graduated and he was like,
Okay,
You've gotten what you needed from me.
Like,
You know,
That's it.
We're done.

The best example I have of this is Ashtar.
Actually I would call Ashtar a galactic guide more so,
But for most people he is a,
He's just a general guide.
But for me specifically,
He was a galactic guide.
Now,
Ashtar is specifically a being that helps lightworkers step into their sole purpose work here on earth.
And he first came to me,
He found me,
He was the first guy that kind of appeared in my room and freaked me out a little bit,
But he connected with me and he began to support me.
We even ended up like,
He was working with me probably for about seven years.
He was working with me for those seven years.
And I remember it was,
I think,
A couple of years ago,
I connected with him and I said,
Hey,
Are you still part of my team?
And he's like,
You don't need me anymore.
Like our work is done together.
And I'm actually not.
And I was like,
Oh wow.
And I had this feeling of like,
Oh,
Thank you.
So Ashtar was a guide who was with me for a season and for a reason.
A lot of the time they will choose you.
There's prearranged contracts before you incarnate for how they can,
How they will work with you when they will come into your life and work with you.
They might be with you for a week or 20 years.
You know,
They,
It's really,
There's no set time for it.
You can also request these.
If you're really wanting to learn to channel,
Go deeper into that,
Call up on Thoth,
Say,
Hey,
I'd really love to get some support and some work for you.
As the general,
These are probably the types of guides that we're connecting with the most.
And especially when I channel for other people,
These are the guides that come through the most because they're very focused.
It's like they have a goal.
So I go,
What does this person need to know right now?
And they're like,
Thoth might be like,
Okay,
She needs to learn how to channel.
But the reason she's not channeling is blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
And it's like,
They're very specific,
You know?
Or Ashtar might come through and go,
Well,
She's on path for her sole purpose,
But this is missing.
And she needs to step more into this.
It's like,
They're so focused.
They always have messages because they're really focused on getting a goal or a job done that you need to get done.
So those are kind of,
They come,
They go,
They come as needed.
They come when you call them in.
We can't kind of predict how long they're going to work with us.
It's an unknown.
Well,
We can ask them,
Right?
But they don't always know.
It's like,
Until we get the job,
Until we get the job done.
So those are some of the guides you will encounter as well.
The next one I want to talk about is Galactic Guide.
So these are your star beings,
Pleiadians,
Sirians,
Arcturians.
And they're really common because we have so many starseeds that are being born onto Earth.
So many starseeds.
And what happens is when you as a starseed,
You choose to incarnate here on Earth,
You make the decision,
Hey,
I'm going to respond to Earth's call.
And I'm going to go ahead and incarnate here and help serve humanity.
Your soul family,
Right?
Who love you so much say,
Okay,
You go incarnate and do that work and we're going to support you in spirit.
So we're not going to incarnate because we love you so much.
We're not going to incarnate.
We're going to let you incarnate.
And then we're going to support you whilst you're incarnated,
Having that human experience to make sure you get the work done that you need to get done.
Think about the people that you love here the most on Earth,
Right?
Maybe your family,
Your children,
Your mother,
Your father,
Like whatever,
Really your husband,
Wife.
Now think about the soul.
If you knew them for thousands of years and you knew the relationship and the love span for thousands and thousands of years,
You remember the lifetimes you've had with them.
We can't even fathom that.
We can't begin to fathom that amount of love,
But that is how much your soul family loves you.
They have been there through it all and they are devoting their time now to making sure you as a representative of the soul family is doing the work that you came here to do.
So these are your galactic guides and it's really important that a star seed,
Especially as you're stepping into your soul work,
Your soul purpose,
What you're here to do,
You start connecting with them.
One,
Because they're going to give you upgrades and these are kind of like software upgrades that you need to go through for them to properly,
For you to do the work that you came here to do and for you to activate the soul gifts,
Right?
So you need to be receiving upgrades from them firstly and secondly,
They're going to guide you onto your soul purpose work and your soul purpose path.
That's what they're focusing on with you.
So if you already know your star seed,
You got to be connecting with your galactic family a lot and often and it is often star seeds who are channeling like incredible things because they're connecting to beings off earth,
Right?
So it's really potent the work that comes through.
That's your galactic guides.
Ancestors.
Let's talk about ancestors because ancestors also play a big role.
So ancestors are all the beings,
The guides that are connected to you on your lineage,
Right?
So your mother's side,
Your father's side,
All the way back connecting in.
Now your ancestral lineage is really important to connect to because oftentimes and especially if you're a light worker here,
You're here to heal and solve some of the stuff that's happening in your ancestral lineage and usually they're there helping you shift through it,
Heal it,
Do what you came to do with your ancestral lineage and it's kind of like that extended family.
They're protecting you,
They're looking after you but they're in spirit and for many of you,
You have passed away grandparents or parents that love you unconditionally and are taking care of you.
Just on a like a side note here because it's not for everybody but spirit babies,
Right?
When a soul chooses you that they want you to be their parent,
Which the souls choose us,
We don't get to choose our soul babies.
When our babies choose us,
They will wait for you to fall pregnant and they will wait years,
Right?
I was told when I was 16,
Oh the spirit baby has chosen you and actually what happened to me at the time when I was 16 and I was like seeing the first psychic,
One of the things that we spoke about,
She's like,
Oh there's a spirit baby in your field that wants to be born into you and I was like,
Well I'm not about to get pregnant,
Like sorry that's not happening right now and she said,
No worries,
It's probably going to be born into someone close to you and then my ex-boyfriend at the time,
His mum who had like the contraception rod in her arm,
She fell pregnant and had like a baby boy,
Literally not even like two months after that when I was like,
No spirit baby,
You're going to be waiting for a long time but I've also met like my spirit babies later on in my life,
So about six,
Five,
Five,
Six years ago I met my spirit babies and I know that they're the ones around me waiting at the moment for me and usually when a spirit baby is ready to come through,
Your ancestors are the ones holding them and preparing them and so oftentimes when I'm channeling for someone,
I see their ancestors come through and they're cradling and holding the baby and preparing you and your family to receive the baby,
So I did want to just touch note on that because I think that's really important to be aware of that they can be part of your team as well.
Ancestors and they're really beautiful to connect when you need healing,
Support,
Family stuff,
They really want to protect you and look after you,
That's kind of their role and it's the ancestral relationship,
It's a really symbiotic,
That's not the right word,
Collaborative relationship,
They're the beings that you should be making offerings to like tending and looking after the energy of your lineage,
Offerings such as flowers for example,
Something as simple as that.
Next I want to talk about nature of spirits because and this again I will say plant spirits,
Nature spirits,
Land spirits,
They kind of fall into their own category of spirits,
We can channel them,
We can connect with them,
Like I'm sure people listening to this have have experience talking to trees,
Connecting with a plant,
Maybe you've done plant medicine and you've met the master spirit of a plant,
Some of us who are here to work in collaboration with the nature spirit realms or the plant kingdom,
Which some of us are,
Think about like the shamans working with plant medicine,
Think about herbalists,
Naturopaths,
Those are all people who are really closely connected to the plant realm and I remember when I did channel for a naturopath once,
She had a lot of beings who were working on that realm because I could see part of her work here was to create these herbal essences right and so she had all these plant beings connecting with her on the team.
Now plant,
That whole realm,
The nature kingdom realm,
It also operates because it's so close to ours as well,
Like it's the etheric world around us,
Your home and your park is full of land spirits,
Nature beings,
Plant spirits right,
It's also a very collaborative relationship when you water your plants,
Talk to them,
Talk to the spirits there,
When you are,
You enter into a new space,
Greet the land spirits there,
Talk to them,
There's very collaboratives whilst angels and our higher self and galactic beings and deities,
They are really high dimensional beings and they're often just service,
Service,
Service right,
Providing for us,
Giving to us,
When we're working with ancestors and beings of the nature realm,
It's really important to actually be treating it as giving them offering,
Looking after them,
Like we even,
My husband's a carpenter and he even built like a little wooden house for the land spirits and that was part of a gifting for them that we had.
Now that doesn't mean you can't make offerings to higher beings,
Like I definitely get flowers and roses for goddess Isis when I'm working a lot with her as a gift but the relationship energy is slightly different right,
So it's just something to bear in mind.
Now when it comes to connecting with these guides,
You can start talking to them straight away,
Calling them in across time and space,
I call upon my spiritual team that loves me unconditionally only and is serving the light only to be here with me today.
You can go ahead,
You can call them in like that and then just start chatting,
Sharing what's on your heart,
Asking for help when you're flying you know and you want to protect the flight or the car or say angels I asked you to protect this flight,
This car but we're really entering a time in our world,
In our evolution where the communications aren't just a one-way thing anymore,
It's more of a walkie-talkie,
That's part of my soul work and soul purpose is to open up this walkie-talkie for people to connect them to be able to talk to these higher beings,
That's what channeling is.
So yes,
Meditate,
Connect to them,
Speak to them but at the end of the day it's important that we actually start going in deeper and connecting with them.
The spirit team loves you so much,
You're never alone,
You're never not supported,
They are always there supporting you,
Guiding you,
Helping you and they require you to ask,
They require you to ask for their support and help.
They very rarely will actually cross that line and help you without you asking because you know we live in a universe that has certain laws and one of those laws is free will and being of light,
The beings of light,
They respect that law,
The law of free will so you will actually need to go ahead and ask them.
