This journal provides the opportunity to record what you observe with your five physical senses and maybe even more as you develop your ability to receive and process information.
Here's how it works.
Go outside where you can sit comfortably.
It could be at a city park,
In the forest,
Or even your own backyard.
Get out your journal and pen.
Begin to take in your surroundings.
Touch carefully.
Look deeply.
Listen closely.
Smell keenly.
Taste when the opportunity arises.
Then,
Turn inside yourself and observe your feelings,
Too.
What has come to your attention?
Then,
Write and draw about it.
Your page might look something like this.
The location,
Date,
And time.
And then,
Notes about what you see,
Hear,
Smell.
Are you tasting anything?
What can you touch?
And,
How do you feel?
