A moment of gratitude.

I would like for you to consider what you are grateful for.

Perhaps you've had a long and challenging day,

Week or month.

Perhaps the stress is getting to you.

Perhaps there are many reasons why you should feel the way you feel,

Angry or sad or everything in between.

Standing in the way of you and gratitude.

But still,

You found a way to this meditation,

To this very moment of stillness and realness.

You allow this meditation to enter your space and make its way into your ears,

Down towards your heart,

As I invite you to open your heart,

Softly and gently.

No rushing or pressure,

Just a sweet and kind invitation to let gratitude in.

And as you open towards it,

Allow your body to soften as well.

Soften your forehead.

Soften your jaw.

Soften your shoulders.

Soften your neck.

Soften your heart space.

Soften your belly.

Soften your pelvis.

And soften your thoughts.

Just surrender to whatever is,

In this very moment.

And do not resist it.

Do not try to control it by making it into something different.

Soften the way you perceive yourself,

The way you perceive your experience,

And give thanks.

Get small by giving thanks for breath,

The constant stream of inward and outward breath,

Allowing you to be here.

Give thanks for your heartbeat,

The rhythm of a pulse drumming into your entire body.

Give thanks for your safe space,

However that may look and feel to you.

It is present.

It is here for you.

And give thanks for yourself,

That you showed up for yourself,

That you allowed yourself to receive this message,

That you moved yourself towards connection,

Towards gratitude.

There is always so much to be grateful for.

And as I leave you with this,

I would like to offer you more space to give thanks to whatever you feel in your heart.

It may be a person in your life,

A gesture of kindness,

Or a decision you've made.

Something you've perceived or were protected from.

Whatever it is for you personally,

I invite you to see it in your mind's eye.

Envision the things you are grateful for and express your honest and heartfelt gratitude.

You can send it,

The energy of gratitude with your body and thoughts.

Or perhaps you feel motivated and moved to express it with your voice.

Whatever feels good to you,

Do that in your own pace,

On your own time.

Give thanks for all that life has brought your way.
