Ajami Script

This is inspired by a diagram from the Timbuktu manuscripts demonstrating the rotation of the heavens. it is written entirely in Ajami script - one of the oldest (known) examples of an African writing system used throughout West Africa.

I recorded a meditation by the same name to honor the liminality that exists within language - especially as cultures collide - what phonetics can be created? how can utterances activate our sensorial intuition?
