The surface beneath you.
Let your weight rest.
Think of this as gentle exploration,
Like browsing a magazine or quietly tracking sensations.
Not hunting for anything specific.
You can let your attention move slowly through the body.
Maybe the hands,
The chest,
The belly,
The jaw.
As if you are noticing what passes by.
When something catches your attention,
Silently name it.
Tension,
Warmth,
Coolness,
Heaviness,
Movement,
Stillness.
If nothing stands out,
You can note nothing clear and keep exploring.
Some sensations feel like they want settling.
Others feel like they want gentle movement.
You don't need to decide now.
Just notice what you meet.
Where does your attention return most easily?
Body,
Breath,
Emotions.
That's enough for now.
This wasn't about doing it right.
It was about meeting what is there.
Listening itself is regulation.
