A gentle Yoga Nidra rest ritual for the Autumn Equinox. A practice for honouring change, finding balance and turning gently towards the darker months. I love to think of these as seasonal spells and rest rituals! The Autumn Equinox marks the moment when light and darkness meet in balance, before the Wheel of the Year begins its gradual turn towards winter. In this practice, we pause at that threshold to reflect on what has grown over the past season, what we might want to nourish through the months ahead, and how we can make space for both light and darkness within ourselves. You'll be guided through a gentle autumn woodland, resting beneath an ancient tree and imagining roots connecting you with the earth. From there, we'll explore the traditional Yoga Nidra practice of opposites warmth and coolness, light and darkness, activity and rest, holding and letting go before settling into the warmth of a cosy woodland cottage.
