Allow these first few moments to drink in gratitude for making space for you.
Something that can be really difficult to step into.
Well done.
Taking a few arriving and grounding breaths.
First,
Finding yourself a very quiet,
Still surrounding where you can feel your energy,
Your body,
Maybe closing the eyes or a gentle gaze over the nose,
Sitting or lying in any way that feels good for you.
Inhaling through the nose,
Following the air flowing into your body.
Allow your lungs,
Chest,
Belly,
Cells,
And being to expand.
Release and exhale through the nose.
Allow your shoulders to soften and energy to root down.
Inhaling,
Drawing energy up from your feet.
Allow even more expansion into your body as you keep the mind,
The head,
The scalp,
The shoulders,
The neck soft and safe.
Release through the nose.
One more,
Just like that.
Inhale deeply.
Feel the air spread past the torso and into each and every extremity in your body.
Drink in the goodness and space.
Exhale through the nose,
Allowing the breath to flow freely and intentionally,
Continuing to ground and calm your nervous system,
Allowing your mind and body to connect,
Allowing a groundedness to come over you.
While the mind may be floating,
Perhaps the body speaks while the mind flutters aimlessly.
Energy can be rooted and the mind soaring.
This polarity can exist and be perfect exactly as it is.
Not trying to change or guide,
But simply being aware and accepting exactly what is there.
Feel your breath move.
Lean into the flow of it.
Connect with the cyclical,
Sustainable energy that is within you.
Maybe allow yourself to smile if it feels authentic in your body.
