This short meditation is based on a zen buddhist monk meditation, and was taught to me by an incredible practitioner who is able to combine somatic experiencing with shamanic magic - Raquel Dubois.This is a method for cultivating anything we like in our state of being. It is so simple, that I just had to share it with the top 3 things that are most important to me to cultivate - ease, grace, and peace. In under 10 minutes you'll do a simple process that creates ease, grace, and peace, both within you, and in your surroundings. You also have the opportunity to embody other aspects you wish to cultivate. By the end of the meditation, you will be a complete embodiment of this feelings. You will be pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, gentle, and simple this is.

Welcome to this meditation to cultivate ease,

Grace and peace and anything else you wish to incorporate more of into your sense of being.

Begin by making yourself comfortable,

Allowing your body to align itself and drawing your awareness to your breath.

Allow your body to soften as you feel the air move in and out of your lungs.

Allow your body to let go of tension as you feel the air through your nose or mouth travel in and out of your lungs.

Feel the natural flow of your breath and allow your mind and body to become one with its natural rhythm.

Bring your awareness to the physical space of where your body is and get a sense of where it is in your environment.

Your body,

Your skin,

Your hair,

Your limbs,

Your fingers,

Your toes.

Feel a sense of ease above you,

Feel ease below you,

Ease to your left,

Ease to your right,

Ease in front of you,

Ease behind you,

Ease all around you,

Ease within you.

Feel a sense of grace above you,

Feel grace below you,

Grace to your left,

Grace to your right,

Grace in front of you,

Grace behind you,

Grace all around you,

Grace within you.

Feel a sense of peace above you,

Feel peace below you,

Peace to your left,

Peace to your right,

Peace in front of you,

Peace behind you,

Peace all around you,

Peace within you.

You may continue to notice ease,

Grace and peace at these points or anything else you wish to cultivate.

When you are ready,

Return your awareness to your breath.

Feel it flow in and out of your body.

Feel where your body is in your environment.

Notice any other sounds you may hear.

Only wiggle your toes and fingers,

Bringing yourself to this present moment in time.

You are here and you are an embodiment of ease,

Grace and peace.
