My name is Ange Dirks and I'm going to guide you through a Reiki infused meditation to reset your nervous system.
This practice will help you ground,
Restore and reconnect you with a deep sense of peace.
You've arrived exactly where you need to be.
Let this be a space of softness,
Safety and surrender.
Find yourself a comfortable position now,
Either seated or lying down and gently close your eyes.
Let your hands rest open beside you or over your heart.
Now take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale slowly through the mouth.
Once more,
Inhale calm and exhale release.
Begin to draw your awareness to the rhythm of your breath.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to force,
Just witness your inhale and your exhale.
Now gently invite your awareness to move through your body.
Relax your forehead,
Soften your jaw and clench your shoulders.
Feel the weight of your body fully supported by the earth beneath you.
With each breath imagine your nervous system unwinding like threads loosening from a tight weave.
You are safe.
Now I force energy,
Pure divine loving.
With your next breath allow this light to gently pour through the crown of your head,
Warming your scalp,
Flowing through and down your spine.
Reiki energy is moving through you now,
Clearing,
Soothing,
Rebalancing.
As it reaches your heart allow this light to expand.
Feel your heart center start to soften.
Affirm silently to yourself or out loud.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe to heal.
It is safe to come home to myself.
Peace is my natural state.
Allow the Reiki energy to settle through the remainder of your body.
Feel a tingling and a letting go.
Surrender your nervous system.
Now I want you to begin to deepen your breath.
Gently bring your awareness back into the space around you.
Feel your body resting but alive with light.
Know that you can return to this calm any time you choose.
Place a hand on your heart and whisper.
Thank you body.
Thank you breath.
Thank you life.
When you're ready slowly open your eyes.
