Welcome beautiful soul.
This is a space for you to soften,
Release,
And return to the safety that has always been within you.
Take a moment now to find a comfortable position.
You may choose to sit upright with your spine tall and your feet grounded into the earth or you may choose to lie down resting your body in full surrender.
Close your eyes gently.
Allow your eyelids to feel heavy.
Take a long slow breath in through your nose and release it out of your mouth with a sigh.
Again breathe in deeply and exhale with sound as if you're letting go of the day,
Letting go of the tension,
Letting go of the effort.
With each breath notice your body softening.
Your shoulders can release down away from your ears.
Your jaw can unclench.
Your belly can soften as if you no longer need to hold yourself so tightly.
Allow yourself to arrive here in this moment.
Nothing else is required of you right now.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
This time is yours.
This time is for you.
Now gently imagine roots growing from the base of your spine or from the soles of your feet sinking deep into the earth.
These roots are thick and strong.
They travel downward through the layers of soil,
Stone and crystal.
Until they anchor deeply into the center of the earth.
Feel the earth holding you.
Feel the steadiness beneath you.
Know that you are supported.
Know that you are safe.
Take a slow deep inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Feel yourself anchored,
Present,
Rooted and calm.
Now gently bring your awareness to your body.
Without judgment,
Simply notice what sensations are here.
Notice your forehead.
Is there any tightness there?
If so,
Imagine it melting away,
Softening with your next exhale.
Notice your jaw.
If you feel clenching,
Gently release it.
Part your lips slightly and allow your jaw to rest.
Notice your throat.
If there is tension or a lump,
Breathe into it now and exhale gently,
Releasing.
Notice your shoulders.
Allow them to drop heavy and loose.
Notice your chest.
Place one hand there if you wish.
Breathe slowly,
Feeling the rise and fall of your heart space.
If your chest feels heavy,
Breathe love into it.
If your chest feels restless,
Breathe calm into it.
If your chest feels tender,
Simply acknowledge it.
I see you.
I hear you.
I'm with you.
Now move your awareness down to your belly.
Often when attachment wounds are triggered,
We hold tension here,
A tightening,
A nervous flutter.
Place a gentle hand on your belly.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
Filling your belly with air like a balloon.
Exhale slowly.
Feel your belly soften and release.
Allow this breath to repeat.
Inhale deeply into your belly.
Exhale fully,
Letting go.
As you continue breathing,
Imagine a soft golden light filling your body.
This light brings warmth,
Calm and safety.
With each inhale,
Draw in more light.
With each exhale,
Release all fear,
Worry and urge to control.
Continue like this for a few more breaths.
Breathing in light,
Out fear.
Now bring to mind a younger version of yourself.
This may be a very young child or perhaps a teenager.
Trust the first image that comes to mind.
See them standing in front of you now.
Notice their face,
Their expression.
Notice how they are holding themselves.
Do they look sad?
Lonely?
Eager?
Anxious?
Do they look like they are waiting for love?
Take a deep breath and step closer to this younger version of you.
You do not need to change them.
You only need to love them.
Gently hold out your arms and invite them in.
Notice how they respond.
If they hesitate,
That's okay.
Simply keep your arms open and your heart open.
Let them know with your energy that they are safe.
And when they are ready,
Embrace them.
Hold this younger self against your heart.
Feel the warmth of your embrace.
Whisper to them softly,
You are safe with me.
I will not abandon you.
I love you exactly as you are.
You do not need to chase love.
It is already here.
Feel your younger self soften in your arms.
See them glowing with golden light.
Light that comes from your unconditional love.
And as they glow brighter,
Imagine them gently dissolving into your heart.
Now you are whole.
Now you are complete.
Take a deep breath and feel the wholeness in your chest.
Exhale slowly,
Feeling calm.
Now imagine yourself standing in a beautiful place in nature.
Perhaps you are on soft green grass.
Perhaps on a beach.
Or in a peaceful forest.
Notice the details.
Feel the grass.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the air on your skin.
In this place,
See yourself as your most secure self.
Your shoulders are back.
Your posture is strong yet relaxed.
Your heart is open,
Radiating love.
But it is not desperate or grasping.
It is calm,
Steady and expansive.
You are magnetic.
You are radiant.
You are enough.
Notice how this secure version of you breathes.
Slowly.
Deeply.
Steadily.
Notice how they move.
Self.
Graceful.
Confident.
Sure of themselves.
Notice how they speak.
Calm.
Honest.
Authentic.
Now step into this version of yourself.
Feel what they feel.
In this secure state,
Repeat it after me.
Either silently or out loud.
I am safe to give and receive love.
I am worthy of consistency and care.
I can be close without losing myself.
I can be independent without losing love.
I choose relationships that feel steady,
Free and nourishing.
Breathe these affirmations into your being.
Feel them landing deep in your body.
Notice how your nervous system softens as you claim this truth.
Stay with this secure energy for a few more breaths.
Breathe in trust.
Breathe out fear.
Breathe in safety.
Breathe out anxiety.
Breathe in love.
Breathe in control.
Now that you have connected with your inner child and stepped into your secure self,
It is time to anchor this energy.
Imagine a soft shield of light surrounding your entire body.
This shield is made of love.
It is permeable enough to let love flow in but strong enough to protect you from fear,
Rejection or rejection.
This shield helps you keep your balance no matter what happens around you.
See yourself walking through the world with this light shield.
See yourself in relationship showing up authentically,
Calmly with love.
See yourself choosing connections that honour your heart.
See yourself releasing what no longer serves your growth.
Whisper to yourself now,
I am safe.
Take one final deep breath into your heart and exhale fully letting your whole body relax.
Start to bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Feel your body resting where it is.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the sounds around you.
Take one last slow breath in and exhale fully.
When you are ready gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Slowly softly open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel compared to when you began.
Carry this sense of calm,
Wholeness and secure love with you as you move throughout your day.
Remember whenever you feel your attachment wounds being triggered you can return to this meditation.
You can hold your younger self.
You can step back into your secure self.
And you can always remember that you are safe,
You are loved and you are free.
Thank you for sharing this sacred time with yourself.
May you walk with love.
May you walk with trust.
And may you walk with peace.
