The River Remembers is a gentle meditation for anyone carrying grief, loss, or words left unsaid. Through breath, stillness, and the quiet symbolism of a river, this practice offers a place to rest beside your grief without trying to fix it, rush it, or let it go. You do not need to visualize anything. The river may be experienced as a feeling, a memory, a sensation, a sound, or simply something you know is there. This meditation was adapted from my book, Living Is Easy With Eyes Closed, and was inspired by a poem I wrote after the death of my first husband. May love remain. May pain soften. May you remember what matters.
