You know there is a specific kind of loneliness that comes with having a vision.

Nobody else can see it.

And if you're watching this,

I think you know exactly what I'm talking about.

You have something inside you,

A knowing,

A pull,

A picture of who you're becoming and what your life is supposed to look like.

And you carry it with you every single day.

But the people around don't see it.

Your friends,

Your family,

They question you.

Some of them,

Maybe even loved ones and have said some things,

May not even directly,

But you felt it.

Though,

Are you sure about this?

That's a nice idea,

But be realistic.

And some days,

The doubts,

They get so loud that you start to actually wonder if they are right,

Right?

And this video is for that moment,

For the days when you're running on empty and the only thing that stands between you is giving up and the sliver of believing that you believe in yourself.

And I want to talk to you about self-belief and why people around you don't have it for you yet.

And most importantly,

How to build it deeply inside yourself that nothing outside of you can take it away.

So let's start with this real struggle,

Right?

Because I don't want to skip past it.

Because whenever you are doubted by the people closest to you and you're doubting yourself at the same time.

But that is one of the heaviest places to be in.

It's one thing when strangers don't believe in you.

That's easy to dismiss.

But when it's the people you love the most from your inner core,

The people whose opinion actually matters to you,

That has always mattered.

It lands differently when it gets inside you.

And most people in those places are doing one thing without even realizing it.

They're waiting.

Waiting for someone to come along and say,

I see it.

I see what you're doing.

I see what you're building.

I believe in you.

Because that would make it easier,

Right?

That validation,

It feels like fuel,

Right?

For a little while,

It would work.

But what nobody tells you about borrowed confidence is that It runs out.

Because it was never really yours truly to begin with.

The moment the person stops cheering or that they have a bad day,

They say one thing and that doesn't land right,

All that confidence goes with them.

That confidence with you that they had put in goes back with them and you're back to zero.

So the real problem is not having anybody to not believe in you,

But the real problem is waiting for someone else to believe in you.

And that is something that you need to build inside yourself.

One fear that most people,

They don't say out loud is,

What if I'm wrong about myself?

What if the vision that I have is just visual thinking?

What if I'm not as capable as I believe I am?

What if I try and it doesn't work?

And everyone who doubted me was actually right all along.

That fear,

It's actually real.

And I'm not going to tell you it isn't because I want to show you what fear actually is.

Because it's not a signal that you're wrong.

It's a signal that you're a human being and that you're attempting something that actually matters.

People who aren't trying anything don't feel that fear.

Only the ones who are in motion,

Who are taking action,

They feel that fear.

And here's the inside out truth.

Self-belief is something that you cannot earn by getting results.

It's not something that comes after the win,

After the people can see what you've built.

Self-belief is something that always comes before you choose to do anything.

Most people completely have it backwards.

They feel that,

Okay,

Once I achieve something and then I'm going to,

You know,

Finally believe in myself.

I feel like I need a sign that I'm on the right track.

That belief has to come first.

That evidence follows belief,

Not the other way around.

And think about that.

Every person who has ever built something meaningful,

Every person who ever changed the life or created something from nothing,

Absolutely nothing,

They believed before there was any logical reason.

And they decided that and that decision that quite firm non-negotiable decision made them who they are today.

Self-belief is actually It's not an emotion,

It's an identity decision that you take,

That you decide to be when you wake up every single day in this world.

And you're confirming in the world around you that,

Okay,

This is who I am.

This is what I want to do.

Even if people aren't believing in you right now,

That's okay.

It's not really about you.

People can only see you through the lens that you have been for so long,

Right?

Not the one that you're becoming.

So they have a version of you inside their head,

You know,

That they've seen since years of watching you.

And that version does not include who you're turning into.

It can't because they haven't seen that yet.

So when they have that doubt,

Your vision They are not actually seeing your future clearly.

They're seeing your past and assuming that that's your ceiling,

That that's it,

That's all you can achieve.

And that information is potential because that is information that limits what they can imagine based on who you used to be.

And that's all you need to know.

And honestly,

It's not their fault.

Most people aren't capable of seeing someone else's potential before it's realized.

It is just the way it is,

Right?

The ones who doubted you the most will often be the first ones who say that they always believed in you once that you've made it.

They're dishonest but because they genuinely couldn't see it before,

That it was real.

Your job is not to convince them.

Your job is not to let their limited vision become yours and you also don't need everyone to believe in you.

Okay,

So let me say that again because it matters.

You do not need everyone to believe in you.

You don't even need most people.

Honestly,

You just need one person to believe in you deeply and completely without any condition.

And that person is you.

And it's not a motivational ad,

That actually works.

Once you decide,

Unwavering believe that you have in yourself,

It's more powerful than a hundred people cheering you on from the outside.

People can boo you all over the stadium,

But if you believe.

That everything is going to be fine.

It's the only one that is there with you all the time,

Even at 2am when you're questioning everything.

Your self-belief is the only one that will stay constant even when things get hard.

So let's talk about how to actually build it.

I don't want to just inspire you.

I want to give you something real to work with.

And the first thing is to stop outsourcing your belief.

Every time you do that,

Start noticing every time you're looking outside yourself for confirmation that you're on the right track.

Every time you post something,

Immediately check for responses or analytics or views.

Every time you share your idea,

Hoping that someone will get excited about it so that you feel excited about it.

Someone else's excitement is actually your excitement.

So every time you make a decision and then immediately go looking for someone else to validate it.

This pattern,

This repeated pattern is the habit that has to change because not only because connection and community they don't matter they do okay i'm not saying that they don't matter but when you need external confirmation to feel okay about your own direction you've handed over your power to something you can't control right notice it catch yourself doing it and start bringing that power back inside of you The second thing is to collect your own evidence.

And you've already done hard things.

You have already been through moments that you thought were going to take you out.

They didn't.

You are still here,

Right?

That matters.

Start keeping a record of that.

Not for anyone else,

Just for you.

The moments you showed up when you didn't feel like it.

The times you made the hard decision.

The things you built,

Survived,

Figured out on your own.

Most people walk around with a highlight reel of their failures and a blind spot for their wins.

Flip that.

Your past evidence of capability is the foundation your self-belief gets to be built on.

Is to decide that you are on purpose.

Self-belief is not a feeling you wait to arrive.

It's a decision that you need to take with conviction that you make and you keep making.

It sounds like I'm the kind of person who believes in herself even on the hard days.

I'm the kind of person whose vision is worth betting on.

I'm the kind of person who finishes what she starts.

You say it before you feel it.

You move from it.

It feels natural to you.

And slowly,

Not all at once,

But slowly your identity starts to reorganize around that decision.

And this is exactly what identity shifting is,

Because you're not pretending anymore.

You're deciding who you're becoming and then acting from that place,

That exact place.

The fourth thing is to protect your vision.

And this is key.

This is practical and important because not everyone deserves to hear what you're building.

Right.

And some ideas,

Some dreams,

Some visions are too new.

And too tender to survive other people's skepticism.

So share your vision with people who have the capacity to hold it,

People who have their own relationship with risk and possibility.

Everyone else gets to see it when it's done.

This isn't about being secretive.

It's about understanding that a seed needs to be protected in the soil before it can survive the open air.

Your vision is the same.

And the fifth thing,

And this is the one that will actually change everything.

Act from belief,

Not towards it.

Don't wait until you feel confident.

Don't wait until the doubt quiets down.

Don't wait until you feel ready.

Because that feeling is not coming before the action,

It comes because of the action.

Will move like someone who already believes in herself.

So when you make the decision that she would make.

Show up the way she would show up,

Speak the way she would speak,

And the feeling of belief will follow the behavior.

Not immediately,

Not perfectly,

But it will follow.

It has to follow because that's how identity works.

You don't think your way into a new self,

You act your way there.

I want to close this because I think that's the most important thing I've said in this entire video.

Nobody believed in them either,

Until they did it.

And suddenly everyone was so supportive.

The people who built the lives that looked impossible from the outside were almost doubted first.

Almost always.

Not because they were wrong,

But because they were early.

The loneliness you feel,

It's completely valid,

It's right,

The way it is.

That you're carrying of your vision that nobody else can see it yet.

That's not a sign that you're being delusional.

That's a sign that you're ahead of where you've been.

And that's a sign that you've outgrown the version of you that people around you are still seeing.

And that's uncomfortable.

And it's also exactly where you need to be.

You don't need a cheering section.

You need a decision.

The world will catch up to your belief in yourself.

But you have to believe first.

You looked at the version of yourself that you know is possible and you said,

She's real,

She's coming and I'm not abandoning her just because nobody else can see her yet.

So nobody is coming to believe in you before you believe in yourself.

But the moment you decide,

Really decide that you are the kind of person whose vision is worth betting on,

Everything starts to shift.

Not because the world changed.

Because you did.
