Hi and welcome to your guided meditation.
My name is Caroline and I thank you for joining me today.
So,
As you sit here in the warmth of the sauna,
Let's take a moment to arrive.
There is nothing you need to do.
There is nothing that you need to fix.
Just notice the surface beneath you and if it feels good for you,
You can softly close your eyes or if you prefer,
Keep them open with a subtle gaze down in front of you.
Now,
As you notice the warmth wrapping around your body,
Relaxing your muscles,
Softening your body,
Can you see if you can deliberately slide your shoulders down into the earth and can you feel the surface beneath you,
The steady support of the earth holding you,
Grounding you,
Ever supporting you.
And let's see if we can relax a level deeper now.
Perhaps you'd like to visualize that you are taking off the armor that you've been wearing today.
And as you take that off,
Allow your body to relax completely.
Feel your torso relaxing,
Noticing the length of your arms,
Noticing your legs,
Letting them go slack.
You are safe to let go.
You are safe to surrender.
And as you are softening your physical body,
Just notice how nice that feels and perhaps you notice your body gently whispering thank you.
Thank you for looking after the body.
Thank you for relaxation.
And thank you for just pausing for a moment.
No rushing,
Nowhere else to be,
Just this present moment.
And let's see if we can give that gratitude a gentle color.
Notice your body being wrapped with this gentle color and again notice how good it feels to soften everything,
To let go and to just be in this moment.
Your soul and your body have been craving this moment and now as you feel the sweat perhaps dripping down your body,
Let's go a level deeper.
Let's bring gratitude to the forefront,
Gratitude for our physical body that carries us day in,
Day out,
Without it ever asking anything of us,
Noticing our heart beating in our chest,
Day in,
Day out,
Without it ever asking anything of us.
Your body does this for you naturally.
Isn't that a miracle?
And as you sit here noticing the heat around you,
Hugging you like a comforting embrace,
Bring to mind what else you are grateful for today.
And as you do so,
Reason why you are grateful for it.
Gratitude is such a simple yet powerful way to raise our vibration.
And the law of attraction states that what we give out must come back to us.
So when we vibe high,
We will receive high vibrations in return and by you prioritizing your rest and recovery in the sauna today,
And by you raising your vibration through gratitude,
You are vibrating higher and higher.
Let's deepen our breath.
And perhaps you notice that the air is getting too hot to inhale via the nose,
And perhaps your body is gently asking for a little break away from the heat.
So let's deepen the breath and let's bring awareness into the hands and fingers and awareness into the feet and toes,
Perhaps gently stretching the head and neck.
And when you feel ready,
Softly open your eyes and perhaps greet this moment with a gentle smile.
