Welcome,
This is Damon Farnham.
Please start by finding yourself a comfortable position.
Either seated or lying down is fine.
Starting to relax,
Softening your body,
Closing your eyes if you're comfortable,
Starting to pay attention to your breath,
The rise and fall of your abdomen,
Your chest,
Not changing anything,
Just noticing.
Now I'd like you to say to yourself,
I am exactly as I am and exactly as I am is enough.
All that I am in this moment,
In this very moment is enough.
And I let this knowing gently settle deep into my body and mind because it is the truth of my spirit.
Everything that I am has a place inside of me.
My striving,
My imperfections,
My insecurities,
As well as my open-heartedness,
My caring,
My wisdom,
And my pull toward wholeness.
All that I am,
Exactly as I am,
Is exactly enough because everything that I am made of is the very substance of creation.
My imperfections,
As well as my beauty and grace,
And I can rest in myself exactly as I am.
Sometimes I will continue to strive and try harder than I need to,
And sometimes I will fail.
This is my humanness and I am here to be fully human.
That must include all that I am.
I also love and care and find patience and see beauty.
This is also part of my humanness because I am a unique manifestation of the complexity and the beauty of all of life,
Exactly as I am.
And in my beingness,
I am fulfilling the purpose of creation.
May I remember this feeling,
This beingness,
Deep in my body as I go throughout my day.
May I know myself and may I experience myself as perfectly whole,
Even amidst my brokenness.
I will also forget this because forgetting too is part of my humanness.
May I remember to meet myself with kindness and patience,
Even in the midst of forgetting to be kind and patient with myself.
Each time I forget,
May I remember more deeply.
Because this is the blessing of forgetting,
Being able to remember anew each time.
I am remembering the depths of who I am and I am allowing myself to be held in the limitless compassion of this infinite universe of which I am an integral part.
Exactly as I am.
Now rest in this feeling for a few more moments.
