Welcome to your relaxation practice.

I'm Alex Alenda.

Please find a comfortable,

Quiet place on the ground to lie down on your back.

When you're ready,

If you'd like,

Close your eyes.

Begin to breathe very slowly and deeply.

Gently start to relax everything,

Your toes and feet,

Your legs,

Hips,

And back.

If you feel tension at any point,

Imagine it slowly dissolving as you breathe.

If nothing changes,

Just know that's okay too.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Relax your tummy,

Your chest.

Relax your shoulders,

Arms,

And hands.

Soften your neck,

Jaw,

Your tongue,

Cheeks,

Your eyes,

And forehead.

Every part of you so peaceful.

Feel the ground beneath you and the way it holds you up,

Secure,

Effortless.

Imagine you are laying on the lap of Mother Earth.

Here,

You have full permission to relax your body.

Notice your belly as you inhale.

It rises up.

As you exhale,

It falls back down.

For a few moments,

Pay attention to the rise and fall of your belly.

Let it be soft and relaxed,

Expanding with each breath in.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

If at any point you become distracted,

It's okay.

Just come back to your body right here,

Right now.

Come back to the feeling of the earth beneath you,

Back to your breathing,

The rise and fall of your belly.

This moment is a gift of relaxation,

A gift of peace.

Here in the lap of the earth,

Embrace it,

Receive it.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Feel the fresh air in your lungs nourishing your whole body.

Let your breath become soft,

Natural.

Here in the lap of Mother Earth,

You have been supported and loved,

Your body and mind completely at ease.

Take a moment silently to yourself to say thank you to the earth and to thank you to yourself,

Your body and your breath for supporting you in this practice.

You are welcome to rest here as long as you like.

When you are ready to rise,

Just be sure to move slowly and breathe.

Thank you for joining me in relaxation.

May you always remember,

Peace is a practice.

Peace is powerful.

Peace begins within.

Peace,

Peace,

Peace.
