Welcome to the present moment.

Before we begin,

Remind yourself that this time is for you and you alone.

Allow no distractions,

No worries,

And no to-do lists to interfere with your time.

Take a moment to make yourself comfortable where you are.

Straighten your back,

Relax your neck.

Once you have reached a place of stillness,

Begin to deepen your breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And again.

Turn your awareness to the ground beneath you.

It is firm and strong.

As you continue your breathing,

Travel from the crown of your head down the length of your body.

Feel the top of your head grow light like a feather,

Then drift down the rest of you.

The forehead,

The mouth.

Feel your ribcage loosen and float upwards.

As you breathe,

It becomes harder and harder to feel yourself anchored to the ground.

Your freed upper body pulls you upwards.

Resist it as calmness travels down through your arms and belly.

When you reach your hips,

Visualize two tight locks beginning to unscrew themselves.

And on the count of three,

They will burst open.

One.

Two.

Three.

Calmness continues to flow through the rest of your body and gently releases it.

Sighs,

Knees,

All the way down to your feet.

A mental countdown from the big toe to the pinky begins.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Feel that pinky toe loosen and let go.

Five.

You are finally free.

Both your body and mind have been released and you are now free to wander wherever you wish.

Feel your newly freed feet rooted in the strong ground beneath you.

They are on a firm path that leads you into a calm and quiet meadow.

A lush,

Green and colorful place filled with exotic plants,

Some of which you've seen.

Some of them are your favorites from the past.

The sky extends out in front of you,

A small rainbow of colors all filtering into various shades of blue.

Light comes through the clouds and changes as the breeze blows them through the sky.

You feel the breeze on your face.

It is both warm and cool at the same time.

You feel free.

You feel calm.

You feel safe.

Your feet venture several steps out onto the path.

It is firm.

You know it can hold you.

You know this is your private space.

You can go anywhere you wish.

You venture further.

Just over a small hill,

You see there are even more flowers.

You did not see these before.

This looks like a special patch with greenery and exotic plants reserved only for you.

Tall soft grass that you can lay down in that will protect you and comfort you.

You venture closer to this patch of flowers and see there is a space for you as if it was made for you.

You step into the grass and sit down.

The grass and leaves and petals of the flowers brush against your skin.

They do not prick you or make you scratch.

They are soft like feathers or fabric.

Lush and gentle,

Almost as if they are looking after your well-being.

You feel taken care of,

Protected.

Nothing will harm you here.

You lay back and look at the sky.

Clouds lazily drift past your vision.

Sometimes you see shapes in the clouds,

Other times they are just clouds.

That's all they are meant to be.

Simply clouds in the sky.

Likewise you are simply you.

You are not meant to be anything or anyone in this moment.

You are just you,

Sitting among the grass and flowers,

Accepted,

Protected,

Perfect,

Good enough,

At peace.

The light shifts as the clouds continue to move and the sky takes on more pink tones,

Mixing with the blue,

Creating purple streaks in the sky.

You look around at your meadow and see these colors echoed in the flowers surrounding you.

Everything around you is so naturally beautiful and naturally perfect.

The world is built like this for you,

Naturally.

Everything that is for you is already there.

All you must do is step into it and accept it.

Starting up,

You gaze into the distance at the rising hills.

You briefly wonder what it would be like to venture out that far,

And maybe you will someday.

But for now,

You are very happy,

Simply sitting quietly and peacefully in your meadow.

That is all you have to do today.

That is all you have to do in this moment.

The light shifts again and the breeze becomes cooler.

You feel your skin picking up moisture from the grass.

It's time to go.

As you get up,

You see the path goes further into your meadow,

But also leads back to where you began.

You know that you can return anytime you want.

You can come back to where you are,

But you also have the option to go farther.

The decision is yours,

And it will always be yours.

It will always be there for you.

You put your feet back on the path and begin to walk back towards where you came from,

Back to the beginning.

It is familiar to you.

The flowers become familiar.

The grass becomes familiar.

The sounds of the birds and the winds from further into the meadow become more distant.

You're almost home.

As you arrive back at the top of your path,

Overlooking the entirety of your meadow,

You can't help but feel gratitude,

And in your heart,

You find yourself saying,

Thank you.

Thank you for this time.

Thank you for this space.

Thank you for these colors,

For this beautiful world.

Thank you for everything that is already mine.

Thank you for everything that will come to me.

Feel that genuinely.

Breathe in and out again.

As you arrive back in your space,

Begin to feel your physical body slowly,

Your fingers and your hands,

Your toes and your feet.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and know that you can return to your meadow anytime.

And all of them will be mine.
