A welcome.
Let's feel without our eyes for a moment,
Closing them and committing to keeping them closed just for this little segment,
A temporary looking away and looking within,
Attuning to our heart space to begin.
Letting yourself,
Your hands perhaps,
To find a comfortable space for rest,
For a touch.
If we're seated that may be just simply on the knees,
If we're prone that may be on the belly,
On the heart,
Perhaps open,
Receiving,
Or face down,
Grounding.
Inviting the imagination to join us,
Let's consider some visuals,
Some thoughts,
Drawing a line around your physical body in space.
If we're prone that may be a simple tracing of an imaginary piece of chalk,
Marker,
Paint around your limbs.
If we're seated that might be that we simply just feel the imprint of the hips or the elbows or the back into that which you're sitting,
Envisioning the shape and the negative space around you and let yourself zoom out to the home you're in,
To that which contains the chair,
The bed,
The floor on which you're perched now.
Whatever home or whatever space,
Car,
Lobby that you're currently in,
See if we can zoom out and see that home,
That space on a map as if we're zooming out on an app.
And see the context,
The trees,
Perhaps a nearby area of forest or land,
A water body,
Maybe a prominent feature in the town or the city that you're in.
Allow yourself to continue to zoom in your imagination to get more context,
Begin to see the placement that you are in,
The city,
The town on a map within the context of the state.
Seeing if you can light your own little light glowing on that map in your neighborhood,
In your home,
In that city,
In that state.
Seeing if we can draw the light to emanate around you so greatly that we can begin to see it in your continent,
Shining so brightly that we may continue zooming out to see that light in the context of your globe,
Spinning that globe,
Honoring all the other lights around you,
The vastness,
The bigness,
The wholeness that exists of which you are part.
Illumine all of us illuminated,
The little dots that we imagine,
That we've seen graphics of before,
And let your imagination perhaps begin to play with those images,
Spanning them beyond what you've seen before.
And perhaps letting that find a slow down of the spin and a slow down of the giant illumination coming back to you here on earth.
Let us smile physically on your face.
Feel the hello in your body as your lips turn slightly up,
As you may feel the corners of your eyes crinkle.
Feel the heart open and expand.
Feel the yes inside of you and keep the smile in your heart.
Ah,
The heart continuing to keep that open,
The whole front of our body soft.
That little light you have on this planet earth,
Dimming all the other lights for a breath,
See just yourself glowing in space,
Space truly like galaxy,
The cosmos,
Go out so big that we see this globe,
This earth,
This planet inside this giant,
Giant,
Incredible system and the trust,
The infiniteness,
The vastness that you're in the company of.
And breathing there for a moment where we feel awe.
We feel into all the unknown,
Keeping the smile in our heart and our body,
The yes within us.
Let us just be amazed,
So simple,
Imagine the beauty and the cloak of darkness that allows the shining,
The glowing,
The illumination,
The sparkle,
Breathing here,
Beginning to draw our attention back into your earthly light,
Your continent,
The shapes of land and bodies of water around you,
Your country,
Your city or town,
Your neighborhood we're dropping in,
Remembering that tree that you saw,
That you love,
Maybe even the view of the rooftop of the home you're in or the space that surrounds you.
Let this experience of getting closer using the imagination come right into your skin,
Come surround you and your shape,
Your breath,
Breathing a moment,
Feeling our belly intentional as we receive that inhale with a roundness and fullness and grace.
Getting really local and granular,
Let us open and expand and enter our heart.
Let's notice what direction is your heart and your head.
North,
Is it south,
Is it east or west?
Let us take note.
If we don't know,
See if you can feel the internal compass saying to yourself,
Perhaps aloud,
That you are indeed facing this particular direction.
As we come back to the texture that you're sitting or laying upon,
Feeling the weight of your seat,
Your hips,
The slightest curve of your lower back,
The wideness of the shoulders.
Let your navel to pull in towards the spine and breathe that up,
Perhaps sighing out loud.
Again lifting the base of your body,
The pelvic floor,
Engaging the navel to meet it,
Breathing that up through the heart and let's make a sound,
Make noise.
Feels so good.
Maybe in this last time,
The arms may wish to rise on your inhale or open like a big snow angel if we're on the floor,
On the bed.
Maybe you pull your own hair or stretch and squeeze the back of your head,
Maybe even pinch on the eyebrows,
Letting your arms stretch all the way up to the ceiling,
To the stars that we just visited.
Let us stretch and on your exhale,
You may sigh,
Moan,
Delight.
You are here.
We are here.
I am here.
Feel free to flutter your lips a bit and smile,
Returning that smile from the heart back to the mouth,
To the face,
To your yes.
Let's drop our chin to our chest,
Perhaps simply letting it roll left to right,
Hearing any creaks,
Any sounds.
Open the jaw,
Close the jaw.
Feel yourself arrived here,
Wiggling the toes,
Jiggling the knees,
Maybe the legs,
The hips,
A little movement,
A little bit of a roll in the spine,
Perhaps in the shoulders.
Keeping your eyes still closed,
Let's allow our hands to gently cover the eyes,
Cupping them,
Blinking them open ever so slightly,
Noticing just a little bit of light that you are letting in by just the simple spaces,
Negative space between the fingers.
Let's look towards our lap and slowly remove your hands,
Letting them fall.
Let your gaze lift and fully smile,
Fully arriving.
Things may find their way back to our heart,
Our belly,
Our knees,
Maybe the space around us,
Palms down,
Palms up,
Maybe palms together in a shape of your choosing.
Feeling the visual confirmation of the smile,
The gentleness,
The lift of the heart and the change of state that we just experienced together.
