Dawn On The Luvuvhu River
Late winter dawn chorus on the banks of the Luvuvhu River in the far north of the Kruger National Park, South Africa. The soundscape starts out with almost just the sound of the river audible but as the day breaks the volume swells as a multitude of birds startS calling. Mammal calls include Spotted Hyena, Leopard, Baboon, Black-backed Jackal, and Impala. Prominent bird calls include White-Crowned Lapwing, African Fish Eagle, Natal Spurfowl, and a flock of Crested Guineafowl around the microphone.
