Good morning let's take a seat or lie down whether you've just woken up have a nice big stretch if you've been awake welcome and let's get ready for our meditation this morning get into a nice comfortable position whether that's lying down sitting down on the chair on the sofa on the bed or on the floor on the cushion let's stretch our arms out big stretch and a big smile and a big sigh it's good to be alive today our practice today is going to be gratitude there are so many things to be grateful for even in our darkest hours we can always find gratitude and I've found that the more and more I practice this the more and more I am able to find gratitude so close your eyes let's take a nice few breaths in nice big deep breaths in let's get our bodies into a really lovely comfortable and relaxing place big breath in into your belly and breathe out big breath in and breathe out big breath in smile allow your body to smile just with your face smile with your body and if you don't know what that means it's when you feel those tingles in your body that's your body smiling the little happy chemicals running through your body smiling and saying thank you being grateful grateful that you're feeling good today grateful that it's going to be an amazing day today grateful that that you're alive grateful for that nourishing breath that fills your lungs and fills your body with so much goodness and that's why your body smiles that's why it feels so good that's why it makes you smile and relax into those feelings relax into this experience and relax into your breath as your mind quietens down and you enjoy this peaceful time maybe where you are you can hear nature maybe you can hear the kids in the background maybe you're commuting into work this is where we're grateful experiencing what's around us being grateful to be able to to hear incredible sounds and vibrations that fills our body with experience grateful for the beautiful words that we can speak when we practice love kindness compassion grateful to be able to see to be able to see nature to be able to see the world to be able to taste to be able to smell to touch what are you grateful for today?

I want you to breathe into that and spend a few minutes just find one or two things that you're grateful for and I want you to breathe in one of them and breathe out on the other so if you're grateful for life you breathe in life and if you are grateful for love breathe out love breathe in life and breathe out love whether it's peace happiness fulfillment and if you're grateful that you're worthy that you love yourself you're grateful that you're alive today you're grateful because you're fulfilling your purpose you're grateful that you're finding your purpose whatever that may be breathe in that gratitude and breathe out fill your body with it for the next few minutes it's so beautiful to be able to feel peace to feel that gratitude to feel that washing all over our bodies daily gratitude will help you with depression low moods it will help to lift you feel you with energy and positivity daily gratitude is a must sometimes we can all take for granted the little things that we have water food being able to have a shower television telephone to have clothes to have a roof over our heads we are so lucky so blessed to be in a position that we're in and that's something to be so grateful for as you go on about your day remain grateful fill your body with gratitude an attitude of gratitude never fails an attitude of gratitude always succeeds gratitude will shine a light even in your darkest moments I'm so grateful that I can be here with you today to be able to share this experience with you to be able to help you through your day so thank you when you're ready take one last big big grateful deep deep deep breath fill your body with gratitude stretch your arms out feel that energy run through your body and say thank you to yourself thank you for today have an amazing day afternoon evening wherever you are in the world and as always be great be fantastic and be absolutely phenomenal today
