I came up with this melody when I was driving to perform at a gig. I was feeling very nervous about getting there on time, thinking of all the things out of my control. I started to sing "I am Safe In My Body, I Am Safe" over and over again. It really helped me to feel calm again. Singing or thinking these words helped me to feel grounded again. Sing along to this track or listen and say in your own mind to help to get back to a calm place. You can breath in and out slowly to bring yourself to a feeling of calm. There are many things we cannot control but with our breath and choosing new thoughts we can bring ourselves to a lovely sense of calm.
