Welcome to this meditation.
Today we are going on a journey together to meet with your future self.
And I invite you to come back to this meditation regularly to be with your future self,
To bask in her energy and really tap into where you are going in your life.
For us to begin,
I invite you to find a comfortable position whether you want to be laying down or seated.
And just making any last little adjustments to settle in wherever you've chosen to be.
Just making yourself comfortable.
Maybe that means bringing in an extra cozy blanket,
Drinking a glass of water,
Whatever you need in order to settle in.
And when you're ready,
You can gently start to soften your gaze or closing your eyes very gently.
And we're gonna begin just by arriving here and now.
We're gonna take some deep breaths.
And I invite you to inhale through your nose.
As you're feeling your belly expand like a balloon.
And that inhale travels up as you expand in the rib cage and all the way up into your chest.
And exhaling out the mouth as you release completely.
Really squeezing out all that air.
We're gonna repeat this a few more times.
And I really invite you to focus on the sound of your breath.
Inhaling through the nose,
All the way from your belly up into your chest.
And exhaling out the mouth.
Letting it go.
And really returning to your breath at any moment during this meditation if you may get distracted,
If thoughts come up,
Know that this is just part of the process.
Some days you may get distracted more often,
Other days less,
It's all good.
Just whenever you notice your mind has drifted,
Using your breath as an anchor to bring yourself back to this present moment,
To bring yourself back to this meditation.
Continuing your breath,
Inhaling through the nose,
Expanding in your belly.
And exhale as we release.
And let's bring the inhale and exhale now just through the nose.
Again,
Just seeing if you can hear the sound of every inhale and every exhale.
And we're going to be stepping into a morning in your dream life as your future self.
We are gonna be visiting our future self in one year's time.
Where you have achieved your goals,
Things are moving well.
So in an ideal world in one year's time,
This is the version of you that we are visiting today.
Releasing control of the breath now,
Allow it to return to its natural rhythm.
And I invite you to begin to relax.
And to visualize your future self asleep in bed.
Now,
Before we really step into this body,
I invite you to take just a few moments just to watch.
So as your present self now,
Watching the future you sleeping.
And just notice what's happening around you.
Who else is there?
Where you are?
How you're sleeping?
What sounds are around you?
What smells?
Just noticing.
There's no right or wrong here.
And then stepping into this version of you.
Stepping into this future version of yourself.
As you gently open your eyes and begin to notice what you can see.
When you open your eyes,
First thing in the morning is your future self.
What is the first thing that you see?
Is there another person?
Maybe it's a baby.
Maybe it's your fur babies.
Maybe you're alone and just soaking up this comfy bed.
But whatever you see,
When you open your eyes,
I want you to really notice and focus on how it makes you feel.
Whatever you're seeing,
Whatever you hear,
Whatever you're smelling,
Taking in all these details around you,
Really inviting all of your senses to play part here.
And just notice how you're feeling.
As you look around the room where you are,
What emotions are coming up and where can you feel them?
So the real power in visualization is really focusing and stepping into the feeling.
It's more important than any detail you may see.
The power is in the feeling.
Experiencing it right now as if you're already there,
Already living it.
So noticing where in your body you can feel this emotion and what it feels like.
Is it heavy?
Is it light?
Is it still or is it moving?
If you imagine this feeling as a color,
What color would that be?
What does it look like?
What does it feel like?
And just staying here for one last moment,
Just really taking in your surroundings.
What is the first thing you see when you open your eyes?
And then let's step into our day.
So you swing your legs to the side of the bed and slowly making your way up.
As you do this,
Take a moment to notice what are you wearing?
What does that fabric feel like?
What color is it?
Are you wearing socks?
Are you barefoot?
Are you slipping your feet into slippers?
Just noticing all those details as you're slowly making your way out of bed.
And just noticing what is the first thing you do in the morning?
Are you letting the dogs out?
Are you going to brush your teeth or wash your face?
Maybe you stay in bed for a little meditation.
Maybe you're rolling out your yoga mat for a little bit of mindful movement first thing in the morning.
Really connecting to yourself.
It could be anything at all.
Again,
There's no right or wrong here.
Just noticing what is the first thing you do in your morning?
And then really noticing how you're doing it.
Noticing the details around you.
So where are you?
What are you doing?
What can you hear around you?
What can you smell?
How are you moving through your morning?
And how do you feel?
Again,
Let's come back to that feeling.
So whatever action you may be doing,
Just noticing the emotions that come with it,
The feelings that come with it.
Where you can feel it in your body.
Again,
Let's give that feeling a colour,
A shape.
Is it heavy or light?
Just watching,
Experiencing and feeling this first moment in your day.
And then moving on,
Maybe we start to make breakfast or your cup of coffee.
What is the next thing you do in your morning?
Is this future version of yourself?
Maybe you check your phone.
Maybe a message you've been waiting for has come through.
Maybe that dream client you've wanted to work with has reached out asking to work with you.
And you hear a notification on your phone now.
And you see that it is a message from your bank.
And this doesn't bring any feelings of stress or anxiety.
It's a pleasant notification.
And as you click it,
It brings up the bank app and you see your balance.
Just take a moment to notice what is that number that pops up.
How much you have in your bank as your future self.
And take a moment here to notice how this makes you feel,
Where in your body you can feel it.
And what colour you give this feeling.
If it's heavy or if it's light.
If it's still or if it's moving.
Just noticing what comes up.
No need to force anything.
And then let's continue on in our morning.
So maybe we're making breakfast.
Maybe your partner is joining you.
Maybe you're taking your dogs out for a walk.
Maybe you're just standing outside in nature and feeling that sun on your face.
Really noticing how this future version of yourself steps into their day.
Noticing what kind of thoughts are present.
How you are standing,
How you are moving.
Your body language.
Noticing what you are wearing.
What your hair looks like.
Just taking in all these details,
No matter how your morning looks.
Just really being there and living this morning as your future self.
Really just experiencing what this feels like.
So maybe you are nourishing your body with a healthy meal.
Maybe you're just taking a slow morning,
Sipping away at a cup of coffee or tea.
Maybe you're sitting and doing a little bit of journaling.
Just setting yourself up for the day ahead.
And noticing how you step into your day.
So once your morning routine is complete,
How does this future version of yourself step into their day?
What's the first thing they do?
What does this version of yourself make time for?
What do they prioritize in their life?
And I invite you now to really picture your favorite part of your morning.
Maybe it's something we've already experienced once this morning,
But let's bring it back to our focus.
Just one shiny golden moment from your morning.
One that really represents what you want to achieve in your life in that one year time.
And I want you to really focus on this moment.
Stepping into this moment as if it's happening right here and right now.
You've already achieved it.
This reality already exists.
And I want you to really take in all of the details.
What is happening around you?
Who is there?
How are you standing or seated?
What are you doing?
What are you wearing?
What words are you using?
And most importantly,
How does this feel?
Where can you feel this in your body?
Can you feel it in your chest?
In your gut?
In your heart?
Where can you feel it?
What does it feel like in your body?
Let's give this feeling a colour.
Notice how vibrant that colour shines or if it fades.
Notice if this feeling is moving or if it's still.
Again,
Just really focusing on this feeling.
Just sitting with this feeling for a few moments now.
And from here,
We're going to take a step back.
Separating ourselves from our future self.
Taking just a step back so you become the observer once again.
So you are watching this future self in this moment.
In that magical moment you've chosen,
Just watching it from afar this time.
And as you're standing there next to your future self,
Your future self turns her head and looks at you.
You feel this connection to this future self for the first time.
And your future self whispers something to you.
Something that you need to hear,
That you need to know.
A message from this future version of you that's going to help guide you in getting there.
You are already connected to this reality.
It's already a part of you.
Taking a moment just to listen.
What is this message?
This message can be different every day.
It could be the same.
There's no right or wrong.
And from here let's tap into just a moment of gratitude here for connecting to this future version of yourself,
For connecting to this vision and for visiting this future version of you.
That is already within you.
Allowing a little wave of gratitude to wash over you from the head to the toes.
As we gently come back to this present moment,
So just noticing what you can hear wherever you are seated or laying down.
Maybe deepening your breath once again,
Listening for that inhale and exhale.
Wiggling in your fingers and in your toes.
Slowly waking up in the body.
And you can really take your time here and whenever you're ready,
There's no rush.
You can very slowly begin to open up your eyes.
You may want to also bring out a journal now and just writing out what came up for you today.
And remember the real power in this manifestation and in this visualization is the repetition.
Coming back to this practice and visiting this part of you again and again.
