Find a comfortable position.
You can sit or lie down.
Rest your hands gently.
Let your feet connect with the floor or bed.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable,
Or just soften your gaze.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And let it out fully.
Notice the air moving in and out naturally.
Each breath is a small reset,
A gentle reminder that you can let go.
We'll start at your feet and move upward,
Releasing tension progressively,
One part of the body at a time.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Flex your toes gently,
Then release.
Feel the muscles soften.
Imagine warmth and comfort spreading across the arches,
The heels,
And the toes.
The heaviness you feel is safe,
It's your body letting go.
Now move your awareness to your lower legs.
Tighten your calves for a moment,
Then release completely.
Feel the muscles lengthening.
The tension dissolving.
Every exhale washes away stiffness,
Leaving comfort and ease.
Bring your attention to your thighs and hips.
These muscles carry your weight and your effort throughout the day.
Allow them to relax fully,
Heavy,
Supported.
Imagine gentle energy moving through them,
Soothing every fiber and joint.
Bring your focus to your midsection.
Breathe into your belly.
With every exhale,
Let your abdomen release.
Your lower back softens,
Each vertebra letting go of residual tension.
Feel a sense of openness,
Stability,
And calm spreading through your core.
Your shoulders have carried invisible weight,
Responsibility,
Effort,
Care,
With every breath,
Feel them sinking gently.
Let your chest expand naturally on the inhale,
Relax on the exhale.
Your spine lengthens,
Your back muscles loosen.
And comfort spreads across your shoulder blades.
Bring awareness to your arms.
Tighten and release your fists slowly.
Notice the warmth and heaviness spreading from fingertips to shoulders.
Your hands,
Which have given and held so much,
Are now free to rest.
Relax your neck,
Let your head be supported.
Release your jaw,
Soften your tongue.
Let your eyes float beneath the eyelids.
Smooth the tiny muscles in your forehead and around your eyes.
The tension in your face simply melts away.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel your whole body as one.
Heavy,
Relaxed,
And supported.
From the soles of your feet to the crown of your head,
You are surrounded by stillness.
Every muscle,
Every fiber,
Every cell is allowed to release,
To restore.
You can now allow yourself to rest more and more comfortably.
Completely calm,
Relaxed,
And contented.
This is an opportunity to let go and allow yourself to feel more self-acceptance,
Self-confidence,
And self-love.
To radiate those positive feelings to others around you.
Letting go,

Of anything that was holding you back in the past.

The muscles becoming as soft as jelly,
As loose and limp as a ragdoll.

Spreading up through both legs,
Right up into the level of the hips and thighs.
Imagine both legs becoming completely enveloped in that radiant,
White light.
Dissolving every last ounce of tension and washing away every last trace of negativity.
Restoring balance to the body and filling it with health and well-being.
Now,
Imagine waves of that infinite light gently touching your fingers.
And spreading over your hands.
Covering your fingertips and being absorbed deep into the flesh of the hands.
Deep into the muscles and bones.
Immersing the hands in healing energy.
And flowing up into the wrists,
Up through the forearms,
Up into the elbows.
Covering the arms completely and spreading deep into them.
Over the shoulders and deep,
Deep into the shoulder blades.
Immersing your arms completely.
Bathing them in warm,
Healing energy.
Now,
Imagine your arms and legs together.
Glowing brighter as they continue to fill with healing,
White light.
From the tips of the toes and fingers,
All the way deep into the hips and shoulders.
The arms and legs immersed in healing energy and glowing gently.
Now,
That feeling begins to spread much deeper into the trunk of the body.
Through the hips and into the abdomen.
Through the shoulders,
Into the chest of the body is progressively filling up with that white light.
Spreading deeper and deeper into the core of your physical being.
Into the organs of the body,
Into the heart,
Into the lungs,
Into your belly,
Into every cell of the body.
Clearing the way for health and wellbeing to flow freely through every part of you.
As the body fills up,
The heart feels strong and contented.
The lungs swell gently with the energy and confidence emerging from deep within you.
Let the breath be transformed by that white light.
Becoming more soothing,
Healthy and relaxing.
Now,
The healing energy is spreading from the base of the spine all the way up through the backbone.
Right up into the nape of the neck.
Spreading deep between the shoulder blades,
Dissolving every last ounce of tension.
Letting the muscles just melt into complete relaxation.
That feeling spreads right through the neck and shoulders,
Up through the neck and over the back of the head,
Up over the scalp.
Now,
Gently washing down over the forehead,
Trickling down over the eyes,
Over the face.
Spreading down into the jaw and bathing the face in healing energy.
Now,
Spreading deeper into the muscles of the head and face.
Spreading deep into the eyes and into the mouth and tongue.
Now,
Spreading deep inside the head and into the brain itself.
Dissolving,
Cleaning away every last ounce of tension from the body and from the mind.
Imagine it traveling along every nerve in the body.
Clearing the channels,
Strengthening the nerves,
And balancing the whole system so that it can function perfectly,
Just as nature intended.
Now,
Imagine the whole body glowing brighter with each out-breath as you relax and allow yourself to absorb the healing white light more and more deeply.
That warmth and energy spreading through every atom of your being,
Cleansing every cell of your body,
Filling the whole body with radiant healing power.
As the feeling spreads deeper and deeper into the body,
It spreads deeper and deeper into the mind and deeper into the emotions.
Bringing health,
Balance,
And well-being to your inner life.

Every last trace of negativity dissolving completely in that cleansing light.

And you realize that life doesn't have to be so difficult.
That everything can be done in a more easeful,

As you learn to relax to your purpose each and every day.

You find yourself becoming more calm,
Relaxed,
And at ease.

In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to slowly,
Very slowly,
Open your eyes.
And when you do that,
I want you to open them very slowly,
Just half a millimeter at a time.
Very slowly.
As you do that,
I want you to focus on relaxing your body more deeply.
So even as you take in the outside environment,
Most of your focus is on how heavy your arms and legs feel.
You continue to relish and enjoy how pleasantly and deeply relaxed you are.
So now,
Very slowly,
Start to open your eyes.
Just gazing out through half-closed eyes at first.
Keep that feeling of relaxation.
And as you open the eyes more,
Keep focusing on your body and relaxing it more and more deeply.
Until your eyes are open and your body is completely heavy and still.
Relish how relaxed the body is,
Even as you gaze out into your surroundings.
I want you to keep relaxing the body,
So you learn to blend this feeling of relaxation into daily life.
It isn't something to keep separate.
