Hey.
Here you are.
Here you are in your body,
And right now,
In this moment,
That is all you need to do.
While you're listening to my voice,
Bring your hands someplace onto your body with enough pressure that you can feel the weight of your hands.
Maybe even give your body a gentle squeeze.
And then inhale,
Repeat to yourself,
Here I am.
Relax your hands and exhale,
Repeating to yourself,
I'm right here.
Here I am.
I'm right here.
Sense that outline of your body like a perimeter that only you inhabit.
Breathe into your skin,
The whole way around your body,
Take up all that space.
Breathe into the edges of your body and also the curves,
Like a beautiful mountain range has valleys and peaks.
Let your mind wander over your shoulders,
Down over your chest and your belly,
All the way down the legs,
Over the bumps of the knees,
Down the gentle ridges of your ankles.
Rest a while in the softness of your heart.
Feet.
Sense your toes,
Move them a little,
Biggest to smallest.
Sense the strong heels that mark the steady incline up the backs of the legs,
Up over the curvature of your butt.
And center your awareness through the spinal column beginning to climb until you sense the branching off of the ribcage,
Those bones stretching out like a beautifully constructed basket.
Up the backs of the shoulders feel your arms branching off the body,
Your elbows,
Your wrists guiding you to the soft ridges of each knuckle and each fingertip.
Sense your fingernails,
Your toenails,
Eyelashes,
Eyebrows,
The tip of your nose,
Top lip,
Bottom lip,
Chin tip.
Right ear,
Forehead,
Left ear,
Chin tip.
You're all here.
Your whole body is here with you,
Supporting you,
And your whole body is listening.
You're right here.
In your body.
Enjoy.
