You'll never come second by pitting God first.
Brian Houston The most important relationship we have in life is the one with God.
The divine.
And today we'll take a moment to deepen our connection with God.
In this yoga nidra practice.
Nurturing our connection with God will give us strength,
Hope and faith.
And this connection is an anchor that we have to keep us grounded and centered in unshakable inner peace.
As a quote by Saints Catherine of Siena goes,
Wherever you are,
God is.
Wherever you are,
Love is.
A reminder that we are always connected to God.
We are part and parcel of the divine.
Wherever you are,
God is always with you.
God loves you unconditionally.
You are supported.
You are guided and your path is always blessed.
Let's take a moment to give thanks to God.
For this breath.
For this gift of life.
That God has given us.
Feeling this divine presence in our heart.
Now let's move into our yoga nidra practice.
Lie down and take a moment to get as comfortable as possible.
Allow your eyes to close.
And allow your whole body to soften.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale completely,
Letting everything go.
And another deep inhale.
And deep exhale.
Feeling the flow of air coming in and out through the nostrils.
Let your body sink into the surface below you.
Feeling completely supported.
Now let's choose our sankalpa for this practice,
A heartfelt intention.
Some examples could be I am full of faith and love.
I am connected to God.
God is always with me.
Choose a sankalpa that resonates with you in this moment.
Repeat your intention silently in your mind three times.
Now softly let this go as we begin rotating awareness through the body.

Allow your body to rest in the stillness.
Now listen to these affirmations.
And allow them to settle deeply in your heart.
I am part and parcel of the divine.
I work in service to God with love and devotion.
I am guided and supported by the divine.
I am full of faith and love.
I am part and parcel of the divine.
I work in service to God with love and devotion.
I am guided and supported by the divine.
I am full of faith and love.
As we close this session let's move into a short prayer.
Dear God,
Thank you for this breath.
Thank you for this gift of life.
Thank you for your support,
Protection and unconditional love.
Thank you for blessing my path ahead and always guiding me in the right direction.
Please fill me with your love,
Light and divine strength.
Please help me stay connected with you,
Now and always.
Take another deep inhale.
And deep,
Slow exhale.
And another deep inhale.
And deep,
Slow exhale.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Gently opening your eyes.
Carrying the strength,
Love and peace that comes from your eternal connection with God.
Have a lovely rest of your day.
Wishing you peace,
Ease and love.
