Balancing the masculine and feminine energies within us is important. This simple exercise allows us to focus on one side at a time. The left side of the body is connected to the right side of the brain representing the feminine, while the right side of the body is connected to the left side of the brain or the masculine. Go at your own pace and repeat the movements as you feel inclined to do so.

Today we're going to be balancing the masculine and feminine energies we have both within us.

Lately my masculine has been taking over,

So we're going to give it a bit of a break.

I'm going to focus on my feminine side.

If you'd like to focus on your masculine side,

Simply reverse the movements.

Whenever you're ready,

Bring your hands into a prayer pose.

As you allow your left hand to move your right horizontally,

Gently pushing,

Noticing your breath,

Noticing your breath,

And then pulling back to center,

Allowing the feminine to pull and push,

Noticing that the masculine has tried to step in,

Continuing to breathe,

Noticing any tension that arises,

Continuing this movement back and forth,

Back and forth,

Back and forth,

Until you feel a sense of balance and peace.

You are welcome to repeat this exercise as you feel inclined to do so.
