A gentle meditation to drift into the present moment and feel it in its fullness. When we are in the present moment, the stress and anxiety of the future or the lament of the past fade away. We are truly living our life in its fullness when we attuned to the present moment. A unique and sacred way to arrive 'home'.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

Allowing yourself to settle into the present moment.

Let the outside world fade away as you turn your attention inward.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath,

Like the rhythmic movement of ocean waves.

Feel into each inhale and exhale a gentle rhythm that connects you to the essence of life.

Perhaps you have a memory of the way the warmth of the sun touched your skin once,

And you felt its warm embrace.

Perhaps you have a memory of the way the warmth of the sun touched your skin once,

And you felt its warm embrace.

Perhaps you have a memory of the way the warmth of the sun touched your skin once,

Or be in this moment.

There is just you and your relationship There is just you and your relationship with time in this moment.

With time in this moment.

Simply savor the texture of the sun and the breeze,

Of the sun and the breeze,

Of the sky as it cradles you.

Of the sky as it cradles you.

With each breath,

Relax a little more.

With each breath,

Relax a little more.

Let yourself feel like you are melting and softening into a lusciousness.

And softening into a lusciousness.

And softening into a lusciousness.

Feel yourself sinking down,

Feeling yourself sinking down,

Letting go,

Deeper and deeper into your relationship with gravity.

With gravity.

Simply savor this moment as it has arrived.

Let your breath expand your lungs,

Your belly.

Let it massage every part of your body from the inside.

From the inside.

Allow your muscles to release a sigh of relief as if that very sigh as if that very sigh was coming from deep within your bones.

Let the bones drop down and surrender to the invisible force of gravity which is always there,

Always holding us,

Always supporting us.

In this moment,

Experience the movement of life as it is touching you,

As it is healing you,

Being with you in its simplicity and its immense quiet beauty.

And its immense quiet beauty.

You who are held in this embrace of life,

Let go into this connection with life.

Feel your boundaries,

Kiss the boundary of life kiss the boundary of life as you melt and merge into the awareness of this present moment with all its colors and hues,

The scent of the breeze,

The glance of the sun.

You and life are made of the same fabric.

Feel that connection.

Feel that oneness with everything around you.

This being one with life in all its splendor is like arriving home to yourself.
